Love at second sight

Chapter 6

*kais POV*
   "Selene!"
I jump after her but she's out cold. I yell for help not knowing If anyone would be there to help. Of course nobody is. As I'm holding her in my arms I think of what I could possibly do.

Call out for help. Already did...

Check if she's okay- As I'm thinking I feel something on my hand. Blood. She's not okay. I have to get her to a doctor, now. I get up and hold her bridal style in my arms.

I can't lose her...
She's my only real friend. Stars. I love her.

I try to calm the tears streaming down my face as I run into Dr. Erland's office. I don't knock like I should.

   "Doctor please help me."

"Oh-yes your highness? What's wrong?"

I lay cinder on the table watching as her limp hand falls off the side.

  "She's hurt, I-...I-...I think someone...."
I couldn't keep the sobs in.
   "I think someone shot her..."

"Stars. Okay I'll help her. Don't worry your highness. She'll be okay."

I walk out of the office with worry all over my face and another break in my heart and tears streaming uncontrollably down my face.

I'm sorry about how short these chapters are I thought it'd be much easier to write long chapters but I'm way wrong so hopefully short chapters are okay with you guys.
