They don't like the imperfect. They don't like the bent and the broken ones. They don't like the sound of them internally screaming in pain, and the sight of their eyes pleading for help.
They don't like love. If you love, you hide. If you love, you cannot shout it on the rooftop. If you love, you're in trouble. Love causes the bent and the broken. And nobody likes the bent and the broken.
But he loves her shamelessly. She reminds of his mother who is left by his father, his sister who is abandoned by her mother, his father who is damaged by the love that fed on fire, but was slowly dying. She reminds him of himself. He sees a reflection of him- how bent and broken he is-, and he loves her because he wanted to be loved that way.
She represents all the bent and broken, because, you may not know her story, but she is a warrior and a survivor of love.
