"She's beautiful Jeremy, I can see why you'd want her, but I don't understand her status here." Lena says as Jeremy proudly brings Tenesa in the house. Shawn had given him a ride in his car rather than him going through a portal.

"Might I hold her?" Lena asks hungering to hold the baby. Jeremy is reluctant to let anyone else hold his child. Seeing that Lena says, "Never mind." She walks out of the room so Jeremy doesn't see her tears. 

Lena is by now showing and is starting to feel the distancing she feared from Jeremy. She puts away the gifts the hospital sent home with Tenesa and Jeremy.

"Lena, he doesn't mean anything by it, you know that right?" Zee says coming in behind her and wrapping his arms around her. "He's been almost obsessed with this child since he first found her. It isn't just you he won't let hold her. He's not letting anyone including his friends hold her." 

Lena becomes dizzy and suddenly becomes dead weight in Zee's arms. "Jeremy!" Zee shouts because he knows if he does anything without telling Jeremy first there will be problems. He didn't even think that he doesn't have permission to call his master by name. 

He is therefore surprised when Jeremy punches him hard. "Master, forgive me. Lena, she's fainted and I forgot myself when I called you."

"Shawn! call an ambulance, we need to get Lena to the hospital immediately. Her heart beat is fast and thready, her breathing is shallow." Jeremy orders once he stops glaring at Zee.

"Yes, master," Shawn turns white. They all know that Lena is the master's favorite and they also know that he is looking forward to her having her baby. Shawn races out to his car to make the call. Jeremy never did get a landline phone and he wasn't lying when he said there was no cell service at his home.

"She's dying Jeremy," Lance says as he comes into the room.

"She's mine, I won't let her die." Jeremy growls back at the sex demon. Jeremy goes to where the energy is for taking away pain and uses it. Perhaps they are right, if the pain is healed then the damage is as well right? He just hopes he's not doing more damage.

Jeremy fights with both Jim and Lance as they pull him away from Lena when the ambulance arrives. "They'll take care of her Jeremy. Let them do their job okay?"

"You her husband?" One of the EMT's asks.

"Her boyfriend," Jeremy responds, he knows that Zee is more boyfriend than he is but for now Zee will step back and let him take that stance.

"You can ride with her in the ambulance if you wish, we'll ask you some questions as well. The first one being is she pregnant?"

"Yes, about three months from what we estimated," Jeremy says his focus solely on Lena. He'd left Tenesa in Leann's care.

"You the father of the child?" 

"No, we had just started dating when she realized that she was pregnant by an ex." Jeremy replies.

"Pity, the child of a human and demon would taste so good right now," the worker said and with those words the demons could see that the worker is also a demon.

"You think so?" Jeremy growls. "She is mine, marked as mine as is her child. Just thinking about touching her makes you my fair game."

Jeremy keeps his aura, his true strength hidden, he's used to being weak and doesn't like others to know just how much that has changed.

"Stop me from taking her from you then if you can youngling. Her child will taste so sweet." With those words Jeremy attacks. His strength is more than double that of the new demon and he is easily able to take him out. When the other EMT worker goes to the aid of the now fallen demon Jeremy doesn't hesitate to take him out either.

"She's mine," Jeremy growls as they fall dead at his feet.

"Well at least you didn't pull them to pieces like the frat boys." Lance says in amusement.

"This clean up will be far easier. Load everything in the ambulance, I'll take care of the driver." Lance says still highly amused.

He ignore's Jeremy's dark looks. "Master? Did you kill those frat boy?" Shawn asks, not terribly shocked he had his suspicions.

"Yes, demons are allied with witches at this time. What they did to her required retribution. You don't offer witches up for sacrifice. No matter how much they might deserve it." Shawn is shocked at the bitterness in Jeremy's voice.

"She lied to master," Janey that had heard about the whole thing from Lena. Lena hated Rosa totally and completely.

"Is she alive then?" Shawn asks apprehensively.

"She was  when she left here. She went back to her witch community and if she's smart she won't come back. But if you and Dermot really need to get in touch with her I'll talk to Jim and he'll arrange it."

"Don't tell Dermot, he'll have to follow up on it. Me, order me to forget all about it and I will. I'd rather not have to deal with it." Shawn says sounding a bit more than a little sick. He'd seen the body parts after the fire.

"But what happened to the EMT's just now, I don't understand," Shawn complains.

"They were demons masquerading as EMT personnel." Jeremy says through gritted teeth.

"Perhaps they were real EMT's that saw that you were also a demon..." Shawn stops speaking as Jeremy shakes his head.

"Lance and Jim keep a strict watch on the demon population around here. I had to get permission from them to live here when the King banished me to Earth. I think they were afraid I'd cause trouble if I were elsewhere and that's why they let me in their territory. Demon's are very territorial and they are very strong. No demon is going to risk their wrath moving here without permission first." Jeremy explains.

"But none of that means shit since I need to get Lena to the hospital."

"I'll take you and her in my car," Shawn says. He keeps his portable radio with him and the accident of the ambulance is announced. "With that I have reason to take you. Let's go master. I'll carry her if you wish?"

"No, I'll carry Lena. Zee let the witches know what has happened. Have them contact the King. The demons have gotten tired of waiting and have fired the first salvo." Jeremy's eyes are lit with fires from within. Now it is time for death and destruction of the demon kind.

"Master?" His slaves cower from him.

"Stay here. You will be safe enough. Just don't let anyone that has to have permission in, they could be other in disguise." Jeremy orders even as he takes Lena in his arms and follows Shawn out the door.
