💜When He Shows Off💜

You were sitting in your part of the lab working on something new.

While Donnie was in his part working on something new as well.

You wanted to know what Donnie was working on ,but every time you asked he said you would have to wait.

That was 4 hours ago and still nothing ,but thankfully you heard Donnie say he was done.

💜"Hey sweetness come over and check out my new experiment "

You walked over but to only see a few jars with stuff in them.

🎨"Uhhh .... Donnie love can you please explain the jars "

💜"Yes I can ,you see each jar has a different colored object of food or item "

🎨"Go on " you said still confused.

💜"Well when I add a chemical to it look what happens "Donnie said while adding somethimg to the jar.

I watched as the jar started to fizz then bubbles started to float in the air.

🎨"Wow Donnie this is amazing " you said with joy.

💜"Look up "Donnie said pointing his finger at the ceiling.

You looked up to see the bubbles popping on a white canvas and leaving it's colors.

💜"Do you like it ?" he asked hoping you'd say yes.

🎨"Its beautiful ,but " you were cut off as you see the jars smoking .

🎨"Uh Donnie is that supposed to do that ??"you said a little worried.

Donnie looked at his jars and his eyes widened.

💜"Get down!! " Donnie yelled as he tackled you to the ground and hovered over you.

As soon as you both hit the ground the jars exploded.

Colorful smoke filled the room ,and you could barely see Donnies face.

🎨"Donnie"

💜"Yes " Donnie said clearly embarrassed.

🎨"May I ask what the purpose of this experiment"

💜" well ..um .. you see " Donnie said getting nervous.

🎨"Donnie spit it out "

💜" I saw you painting, and I kind of got jealous because you can make such beautiful paintings .so I thought I would give it a try but with my own twist "

You layed there putting the pieces together on how the rest happened.

🎨"So you tried to impress me with your new paint bubbles " you asked.

💜"Yeah, are you mad?? "

🎨"No I think its cute, but " you said as you and Donnie stood up looking at the now colorfull lab

🎨"You should probably leave the art stuff to me " you said with a smile looking at the paint covered Donnie

💜"Your right but you wanna know something "

🎨"What's that ?"

💜"You sure do look good covered in paint " Donnie said then kissed you.

🎨"Aren't you sweet ,but that doesn't get you out of cleaning the lab ,and my work area" you said handing Donnie the mop.

💜"This is punishment isn't it"

🎨"Yup cause now I gotta go and try to get this paint out of my hair" you said then left.

Donnie started to mop ,but you ran back in and kissed his cheek.

🎨"Still love you my geeky turtle" you said then left.
