I had asked u all to guess the song Raman would be singing...
Let me announce who guessed it right...
NONE!
Yeah...none of u guessed it right😉

Waise I had one song on my mind when I ended the last update & I hv been waiting to use the song in this story...
But just when I began to draft this part, I changed my mind as I was reminded of a better song.

My first choice was 'Main Hoon Hero Tera' from the movie 'Hero'
Just go through the lyrics n u vl find it apt fr Raman's situation...

But now I will be writing on 'Tu Jaane Na' from 'Ajab Prem Ki Gajab Kahani'

I was confused btwn the above song & the title song of 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil'.
But my final choice is 'Tu Jaane Na'

So here it goes

"Mihika chal ghar chalte hain" saying Ishita held Mihika's hand all set to escape.

"Kyun?" Asked Mihika as if she didn't know why Ishita wanted to leave before Raman began singing.

"Woh...bas..." she looked here and there nervously.

"Akka...Aap aise kyun behave kar rahe ho jaise ke woh AAPKE LIYE hi gaana gaane wale hon" Mihika said deliberately heartily wishing that this time too her prediction about her Akka comes true.

Ishita's eyes went wide as Mihika spoke aloud the fear she had. Ishita somehow knew that whatever Raman would sing would be dedicated to her and so she wanted to escape before she fell weak in front of him.

"Chill Akka! He is singing on Pammi Aunty's insistence. Aap kyun pareshan ho rahe ho" said Mihika not leaving any room for an excuse to leave.

As Raman cleared his throat, Ishita kept her gaze to the floor not wanting to face him. Raman had a long list of songs on his mind, but when he looked at Ishita who was avoiding every eye contact with him, there was only one song he wanted to sing which would convey his state of mind to her.

"Kaise Batayein
Kyun Tujhko Chahein
Yaara Bata Na Paayein"
He began. The pain in his voice enveloped the entire space, touching every heart, making the gathering go pin drop silent and lose themselves in his heart melting plea.

Ishita shut her eyes tightly listening to him. Raman sang the next lines urging her to open her eyes and read the unsaid words by him.

"Baatein Dilon Ki
Rahe Jo Baqi
Aankhein Tujhe Samjhayein"

When she still refused to open her eyes and meet his gaze, he hopelessly exclaimed
"Tu Jaane Na
Tu Jaane Na" wanting to tell her that she wouldn't understand what he was going through.

Pitying his own fate and plight, Raman sang

Tumse Na Jaane Kyun" He didn't know what was in store for them in future. He had fought against destiny to bring them together but Ishita's adamancy was breaking them apart now. He was aware she was hurt, she was pained, she was decieved and she was not wrong in being adamant. Yet he could not stop hoping to bring her back in his life and dream of a future with her.

As tears escaped her eyes, she quickly opened her eyes and wiped her tears without being noticed by others, except Raman and Mihika, who were noticing her every single move.

Woh Hai Milta Tumse Hubahu" He sang while pleading her to see her reflection in his eyes.

Failing in her resolve, captivated by his voice and words, she lifted her gaze and met his. Raman smiled gratefully and told her how these very eyes of her had him enchanted the first time they met, or were it her words on their second meet that touched his heart and occupied a space in it

Lost in the past, he went on to reminisce how they worked together, yet she maintained a distance between them at the pretext of keeping professional life away from personal

Why? He wanted to know why she pushed him away from her everytime he tried to close the gap between them. Pained by the memory, he complained, although he knew she was not answerable to him

He tried to tell her that she had no idea how painful it was to stay away from her in those days, as it is now

Then he told her about how he had wished to express his love for her in private before proposing her publicly, but she never gave him a chance to speak out

He was reminded of the conversation  when she had told that she was already engaged and was getting married in a month. He had accepted that she belonged to someone else, yet he was unable to untie the knot of love that had tied him to her

When he thinks of his love life, on one side he pities himself for all the wrongs fate had done to him, on the other side he regrets for all the wrongs he had done to her

Despite all of that, he still dreams to have her for himself. His love has left him desperate to get her love back. He chuckles at his insanity and sings

Then he thinks, if they were not meant for each other, then why had they met in the first place. And if she was not destined to be his, then why of all the people in the world he found her when she met with the accident and lost her memory

Now he questions her, why then she wants to create this distance between them when all he wants is to tell the truth to her and win her love
