"What?!" I asked, confused.
Damon looked at me and frowned.

"Is there a problem, Natalie?" He asked stupidly.

"Umm, let me think, yes! Duh" I said sarcastically.

"You can't just move my things around and tell me where to live! You're not my father!" I said angrily.

Damon looked at me suspiciously and sighed.
"You need someone to take care of you after that incident, and since it was my fault, just let me help you, please."

He opened the doors to my hospital room for me and I walked in.
He closed the doors behind me.

I sat down on the bed.
I felt uncomfortable with his presence.
Damon turned to me and started walking towards me.

He sat down in the armchair like he owned the place.
Maybe he does?

He stared at me like a lion at its pray and I swallowed.
"Do you remember who attacked us?" He asked.
"Y-yes." I answered.

Wait, what the hell happened to him?
Where is he now?
Damon nodded slowly.

"Please don't assume the worst Natalie. I'm so sorry anything happened to you. I can't lose you."

⏳.........................................................

I woke up at around 6pm when the nurse came through the doors. She saw that I opened my eyes and smiled widely, maybe even relieved.
She checked a few things with me and then she was off.

It wasn't 5 minutes until Damon came back.
Before he looked at me I closed my eyes and pretended to sleep.

I heard his phone ring and he walked away to the window and answered it.
I felt proud of my acting skills when he whispered on the phone, not to wake me up.
"I don't give a fuck, Jeremy."

I heard him say silently and then he hang up.
Then, he walked up to my bed.
"Are you gonna keep pretending to sleep or are we gonna get some muffins?"

I jumped at the sound of muffins with excitement and nearly fell off the bed.
I smiled widely and he stared at me.
"Are we really gonna go?" I asked, excited.
He sighed.

"Yes, let's go. We have to be back before 8."
And just with that, I jumped out of bed and let my hair down.

"Here. It's cold outside." I turned around and saw Damon standing with a dark red coat with bright, white fur.

"No thanks, I'm fine." I declined and turned around towards the doors.
I jumped when he grabbed my arm and pulled me back, but gently.

"Put this on." He almost ordered.
I just nodded not wanting to piss him off or something. I still wasn't sure how to act around him.

I put the coat on and immediately fell in love with it. It was comfortable and fitted me perfectly.

We walked out of the building and a white Tesla was waiting for us. I bit my lip and entered the car.

The chauffeur drove us to a cozy Café with not many people.

I stuffed my mouth with a chocolate muffin as Damon sipped his coffee and watched me carefully.

I finished my muffin and sipped my hot chocolate with extra whipped cream.
"Damon..." I started.
"Yes?" He answered not looking away from me.

Okay, this is such a dumb idea.

"What happened to Oliver?"
