“Jaime, I need to say this really quickly; I’m flying out to Wisconsin to a wedding, and I’m not going to be able to talk. The wedding’s in early April and I need to help my cousin set up and make sure everything is ready, so I’ll be super busy. I’ll call you when I get back, I promise. Maybe I’ll call in a week or two to check up, but only for a minute or so…”
“Lils, that’s fine! The guys and I need to record big time. We’ve been slacking off, so yeah, this is probably the perfect time for both of us to be busy. I’ll be waiting for your call, okay? I’ll always have my phone, unless I’m in the booth. Then one of the guys will answer.”
“Thanks for understanding, Hime-Time. Oh, and, Jaime?”
“Yes?”
“Why didn’t you tell me you broke up with Jess?”
