April 7th, 2014.

“Dis bitch can’t answer his phone righ’ now, so pwease weave a massage afta da–”

“What the fuck, Tony?”

“Wha? Dis ain’t no ‘Tony’ person. Dis is… dis is Turtle!”

“Turtle, give the phone to Jaime and go sober up.”

[Yelling followed by someone snatching the phone harshly.] Sorry, Lils, we just had a party, and the guys are fuckin’ wasted.”

“It’s not a problem. Just be sure to never let Tony have another bottle of… anything ever again. It’s going to his brain.”

“Maybe it’s because he’s high.”

“Did he take some pot from Mike?”

“Obviously. What kind of question is that if I just said he’s high? You’re somethin’ else, Lils…”

“Yeah, I guess you’re right. But anyway, how’ve you been?”

“I’m fine. It hasn’t been long since we last talked, so there’s not much time for that to change.”

“Don’t be a smartass with me. I got new tattoos last month; did I tell you that?”

“You said you’d get them done by your manager, but you never told me when you actually got them.”

“Well, I did, and I got some on my arms. I’ll show you when we meet–”

“Speaking of that, I was thinking about coming early.”

“What? No! I mean, uh, no. Just come for New Years, ’kay?”

“Why? Is something wrong?”

“No, not at all, it’s just, uh, the apartment is a mess.”

“You can clean it with Toni.”

“We’re lazy?”

“We’re lazy, too, but we clean up for special occasions.”

“Uh… there isn’t an extra bed?”

“I can sleep on the couch.”

“We have no food?”

“How could you live? You must have food.”

“We’re evicted and we have to leave in ten minutes–?”

“Oh, shut up, Lily. Why can’t I come early?”

“Because I said so.”

“We’ll see about that, Missy.”

“What do you me–?”
