“I have a quick question – can we all celebrate Christmas together when we fly in? Is that okay?”

“Yeah, of course! I’ll tell the guys to buy presents for you guys, too. You guys don’t have to get us anything. You being there is all we need.”

“Well, that’s too bad. I got you all something already.”

“I’ll pay you back for it–”

“Jaime, it’s a gift for a reason. I wanted to spend the money, so I did! I’m not poor. I’m fine. Don’t you worry. Besides, I used my brother’s credit card. Boy, will he be mad when he finds out…”

“Ooh, you bad girl.”

“I take pride in it.”

“I think bad girls are hot.”

“…that’s nice.”

“So do the guys, so put on a goody-two-shoes act when you’re around them.”

“You’re still protective?”

“When am I not? Look, I just don’t want your heart to get broken. Especially by Mike; he’s known for that kind of stuff…”

“Don’t worry, Jaime. My brother already warned me not to get involved with them, much less any other boy I happen to like.”

“Good. So, I’ll see you soon, right?”

“Right.”

“Love you.”

“Talk to you soon.”
