PROLOGUE

Los Angeles, California—the place where it all started.

I've always wanted to go to and loved LA ever since I was a kid because of its beautiful sceneries and amazing places to go to. Also, because my cousins live there. But I loved it even more when I met Ross. The guy whom I loved so much, sometimes more than myself. The guy who cared for me and protected me. The guy who promised that no matter what happens, he will never leave me.

But guess what? He broke his promise and that broke my heart.

Let me tell you about my story. A story of me and a guy who thought love can withstand everything. But our own experiences and the choices that we made proved that wrong.

At first, my story was wonderful. I could say I was the happiest girl there ever was because I was so contented with what I had in my life. But I didn't know that tragic things were going to come. I didn't know that the people I trusted was going to break my trust. I didn't know that it was only the first chapter of my life.
