"Wake up, bambino," I heard a soft voice whispering in my ear. Almost immediately, I felt a pair of soft but strong hands starting to shake me awake.

I began to stir, opening my eyes slowly. The light was bright, making them hurt. I shut them almost instantly.

"What's going on?" I asked the mysterious person. I felt exhausted for some reason.

"I want to show you something," said the voice. I nodded, and then forced my eyes open again.

For some reason, memories of last night flooded into my memory. Johnny had taken me to a lake, where we had sat in a tree and kissed. I couldn't help but smile.

I was taken out of my thoughts.

"Ponyboy?" he questioned. I snapped out of my trance.

"What do you want to show me?" I replied quickly, not wanting to worry him. I saw him begin to fiddle with his hands.

"I will mostrare you," he stated, grabbing my hand.

Before I knew it, I was being dragged out of bed.

-

Johnny had dragged me outside. The horizon was practically dark, the only light covered by the trees. I gave him a confused look.

Johnny was wearing a hoodie and his boxers, as well as his calf - high socks. His glasses were on the tip on his nose, and he had a case of bed head.

I was currently wearing one of Johnny's hoodies, which was extremely huge on me.

I couldn't help but cuddle into it. It smelled like him.

I really liked how Johnny smelled. It was like vanilla and cigarettes. It was an odd combination that somehow worked.

I felt him start to stare at me.

"What are we doing outside before five o'clock in the morning?" I asked, suspiciously. I couldn't help but let out a small yawn.

Johnny giggled, and then gave me a soft kiss.

"Segui me, and you will see," he stated, bopping my nose. He then took his hand in mine, and started to take me to the back yard.

I followed him, both hesitantly and excitedly. I wasn't sure what to expect.

"Are you going to lure me into your back yard with a kiss, and then kill me?" I asked, jokingly. Johnny turned around, and stared at me.

"What made you pensare that? Is that how you see me?" he said, worried. I could see some tears form in his eyes.

"My god, Johnny! No! It was a joke!" I exclaimed, a bit surprised at his reaction. Johnny immediately eased up.

"Oh. I apologize. I still don't understand sarcasmo in English," he whispered, shyly. I nodded, and put my arms around his waist.

"Don't worry, Johnnycakes. I don't mind explaining things to you," I replied. I heard him giggle.

My knees buckled.

I love his giggle. No, I live for his giggle, I thought to myself.

"Bene, cause I want you here per sempre," he whispered in my ear.

I couldn't help but turn bright red.

"Well, I guess I better show you your sorpresa," he stated with a bright smile.

"Bring it on, Johnnycakes," I exclaimed eagerly.

Johnny took me closer to the side of the house, revealing a ladder. I raised my eyebrows, giving him an odd look.

"Follow me," he suggested with a wink. He began to climb up the side of the house.

I obeyed.

-

When I got onto the roof, I was in complete awe.

In front of me was a beautiful sunrise, the colors swirling together. The oranges mixed into the pinks and the yellows, and the blue was starting to peak through slightly.

"Do you piace it?" asked Johnny, pulling me closer to him. I immediately nodded.

"It's so lovely. Hell, besides you, it's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen," I whispered in his ear.

Johnny grabbed me by the chin, making me look at him.

"You really need to look in a mirror, caro," he replied. He closed the gap between us.

I felt his soft lips moving against mine. It was a slow and sweet kiss.

When we pulled apart, Johnny motioned to something.

A few feet away laid a few pieces of french toast, hot chocolate, and blankets.

"When did you have time to do this?" I asked, exasperated. Johnny smiled.

"I woke up prima you, so I could cook," he stated proudly. I could see his dimples.

I couldn't help but smile and blush.

"Why'd you do it for? You really shouldn't have!" I stated, a bit embarrassed yet flattered.

He didn't need to treat me like I was special, because I was literally a worthless piece of shit.

"Because I cura for you. You mean the mondo to me, and I'm lieto that I met you, bambino. You are everything," he stated sweetly. He almost sounded like he came out of a Shakespeare play.

I couldn't believe what I was hearing.

"I love you," I whispered, under my breathe.

I immediately stopped breathing, regretting the words that came out of my mouth.

Johnny's expression turned to confusion.

"What did you say?" he asked, clearly not hearing me. I gulped.

"Nothing. It was just sarcasm."
