"What the fuck is going on here?" shouted a deep, angry voice. Johnny and I instantly jumped away from each other, scared. "I come home and I see this?"

I turned to see who was yelling, when I saw a man, a man I didn't know. But, there was something familiar about him...

Suddenly, the pieces clicked.

He had wavy dark hair and brown eyes, along with tanned skin. He was tall and sort of lean, besides the fact that it looked like he had a beer belly.

He was Johnny's father.

"It's not what it looks like," replied Johnny hastily. He turned his head a bit to look at me. When I looked into his eyes, I could see an emotion. I could see fear.

"Really? It ain't what it looks like? Yeah, I just saw my son kissing another ragazzo! What else is that supposed to look like?" screamed the man. His voice was booming, and I could see veins popping out of his temple.

"Dad, I giurare-," started Johnny. Suddenly, his dad smacked him across the face.

I let out a scream, terrified for my life.

"I don't want to hear another parola from you!" he shouted even louder. His face was beat red now.

Johnny's dad turned to me.

"...And you! You're the one who did this to my son!" he screeched. I could see the furiousness in his eyes; they looked like crazy eyes.

"Mr. Cade, I-" I stared stuttering. Johnny cut in.

"He didn't turn me into a- a queer!" shouted Johnny. His dad balled his fists.

"Shut up, you little cagna! What about Gina?" he said slyly. I saw Johnny's face fall.

There was a deafening silence in the room.

"Who's Gina?" I mumbled. Johnny gave me a guilty look.

His dad just laughed. He laughed a deep, breathy, disgusting laugh.

"Gina was my old fidanzata back in Italia.." he stated, trailing off. I widened my eyes.

"Yeah, except Gina wasn't just a fidanzata!" exclaimed Mr. Cade. I gave him a confused look.

"Dad, per favore! Don't do this!" interfered Johnny. His dad shook his head, and grinned.

"You mean you didn't tell your little fidanzato over here?" asked Mr. Cade. Johnny shook his head in a pleading manner, but Mr. Cade only smiled more.

My head began to spin with questions.

"Who  was Gina, Johnny?" I asked, seriously. He turned his head, refusing to look me in the eyes. His dad chuckled.

"Gina was going to be his wife. They were engaged since they were fifteen!" he exclaimed. I gasped, and looked at Johnny angerly.

"Why didn't you tell me?" I screamed, lunging at Johnny.

I smacked him across the face.

"Why didn't you tell me that you were supposed to get married?" I shrieked again.

Mr Cade broke out in laughter.

Johnny said nothing.

"It doesn't matter why he didn't say anything about his engagement, because clearly, you turned him into a little queer!" replied Mr Cade. I took a sharp intake of air.

"Ponyboy didn't turn me into a queer! I never loved Gina, ans you know it!" shrieked Johnny. There were tears running down his cheeks. "I was always gay, and I'll be gay forever!"

Suddenly, there was a loud noise in the room.

Johnny's dad punched him in the face.

Blood was spouting from Johnny's lip.

"Sta 'zitto!  Sta 'zitto, cagna!" he yelled at Johnny.

I felt my blood boil.

"You shut up, you fat old man! Shut up! Johnny loves me and I love him! You stupid whore-" I yelled, before I was cut off.

Mr Cade threw me over his shoulder, and carried me out of the room.

"Put me down!" I yelled, balling my fists and kicking my legs.

"Shut up, you piece of shit! At least you ain't like my son, worthless!" he yelled back at me.

"Johnny! Johnny!" I screamed, trying to get his attention from the living room.

He came out of the room, blood covering his beautiful face.

"Ponyboy, I lo-" he started.

I never heard what he said, because at that exact moment, Mr Cade threw me out of the house.

I tumbled down the concrete stairs, making the pain I felt underwhelming.

"..And stay out!" he screamed. He kicked me once in the stomach, before turning around and locking the door.

I got up from the ground, and starred at the house.

I heard screaming and yelling.

I couldn't help but run away....
