The sun had finally come up, blinding us with its bright rays. Our eyes began to squint, looking at the golden light.

We were still sitting on the roof, in practical silence. Johnny was a few feet behind me, while I stood at the edge of the roof.

I had the widest smile on my face.

I outstretched my arms, and began to laugh.

"What's so funny, bambino?" I heard him ask. All I could do was smirk.

I turned my head to face him.

"The sun makes me feel happy. Watching the sunrise and then outstretch the sky really gave me a perspective," I replied, unsure of how to word what I wanted to say. Watching the sun rise did give me this weird sensation that I couldn't describe properly.

Maybe the feeling was happiness, and carelessness.

Maybe the feeling was just love.

When I looked at Johnny again, his lips were curled into a small smile.

"What?" I questioned, feeling a bit insecure. I was always scared that he was going to dump me.

Ponyboy, he can't dump you! You guys aren't dating, I thought to myself.

My negative thoughts were cut off by his melodic voice.

"Quando il sole colpisce il tuo volto, sembri un bel angelo mandato da lui," he exclaimed, sounding starstruck. I raised my eyebrows.

"What does that mean?" I whispered, walking towards him, and then sitting down.

He laced his fingers with mine. Our hands intertwined perfectly.

It was almost like we were made for each other.

Almost.

"It means 'when the sun strikes your face, you look like the most bellismo angel sent from heaven," he whispered in my ear.

I couldn't help but turn bright pink.

I love you, say I love you! I screamed in my head.

"I'm feeling a bit cold. How about we go inside and cuddle?" I blurted out embarrassingly.

His expression dropped, but he nodded.

We got off of the roof.

-

Johnny stepped out of the room with a new change of clothes. He wore a navy blue sweater, and a pair of tanned pants. His hair was brushes upwards, and his cheeks were flushed a lovely color of pink.

He always looked so effortless, unlike me.

I was wearing a white shirt and black jeans, along with Johnny's denim jacket.

He had let me borrow it.

It smelled just like him, and it kept me warm.

"Ponyboy?" he mumbled. I looked at him surprised.

"Yes?" I replied. I saw him bite his lip.

"Can we coccolare?" he asked, his voice shaking.

I couldn't help but sigh.

Johnny and I had already cuddled earlier. In fact, he was all over me today.

He was getting really touchy, and while I loved it, it was causing some major "issues."

I looked up at the clock on the wall.

Today was the day I was supposed to be going home. One of the boys would pick me up. It was getting closer and closer to the end of our sleepover.

"Gee, I don't know Johnnycakes. You know I gotta go soon," I said, disappointed. Johnny frowned, but then gave me a devilish smirk.

"What's that look?" I asked, uncertain. He chuckled lightly.

Before I knew it, Johnny had jumped on top of me, making me land on the bed. He then began to straddle me.

"You are no divertimento!" he exclaimed. I felt something touching my ribs.

I came to a sudden realization.

"No!" I shrieked, but I was immediately silenced.

Johnny had began to move his fingers around, tickling me. I couldn't help but squirm, gasp, and laugh.

"Johnny!" I screamed out, sounding desperate. He laughed at me.

"That'll insegnare you not to reject cuddling! Do you give up?" he asked, hopefulness in his voice.

I nodded violently.

"Yes! Yes I do-" I started, before I was cut off.

Johnny leaned down, and kissed my lips. He was rough, yet gentle at the same time.

I kissed back, pulling him closer to me.

I felt his hands on my chest, while mine were in his dark hair, gripping it tightly.

Suddenly, Johnny made a weird noise.

It sounded like a moan.

...The doorbell suddenly rang
