Chapter 51 (wow already !)

"Connor" I barley said in a whisper.

Connor hadn't even noticed me in the room. I looked over at Cynthia and she had glossy eyes. I couldn't imagine what it's like to see your son become so destroyed and look so broken.

"Please Connor calm down" Connor's father David tried to calm down his lost son. Connor looked at him with piercing eyes looking like he was ready to kill.

"Don't you tell me shit! After all that you have done you can't just fucking make it seem like you can go around and tell me what to do" Connor yelled back at him. I had no idea what had gotten him into this mood or tensed up. It can't just be all the alcohol.

"It is too late at night for you to be yelling and throwing a tantrum. Please go to bed and in the morning we can discuss this." David said.

"No! Get the hell away from me !" Connor replied yelling. He grabbed a plate and chucked it at the ground. Taking another and repeating. His father grabbed the next plate before he ruined all of his mothers beautiful dishes.

"Take Cynthia inside please. I can handle him" I pleaded to his father. Cynthia's sobs came from the hallway as she watched her son go crazy. He gave me a hesitant look and I nodded reassuring him. He left and took his wife back into their room.

"Fuck" Connor cursed loudly and smashed one of his mother's expensive china.

"Connor please" I said so only he could he hear me. I approached him and he jerked away moving towards the living room.

"Connor please! This is no way to act in your parents house" I spoke up. He grabbed a picture frame and threw it at the wall.

"I need to get out of this hell hole! I would never in my life call that fuck up my parent or father" he said as he kicked the chair back.

"We need to discuss this. But you need to stop destroying everything" I hadn't even realized I was crying until I chocked for air. My shirt was wet with my tears and my cheeks were red.

"He left me and my mom! That drunk left us as if we were full of money. Then he comes back into our lives and does nothing but abuse her! I sat there growing up to be made out to be some fuck up!" He punched the wall and I gaped at the new information.

Being the selfish bitch I am I never take the time and ask Connor about his childhood. I never knew about how such a rough childhood he could have had. I just cried and whined into his arms about my life when it probably wasn't even as bad as his. Thinking about 6 year old crying while he watched his drunk father abuse his mother saddened me even more.

"I'm so sorry Connor. I'm sure he has changed now." I said barley being able to speak up. Connor smashing another picture to the ground. This one being the family picture.

"Then when I get older they see me turn into this failure they just get rid of me expecting me to get better. Bribing me. Because who wants a son who drinks all day and sleeps with girls throwing his life down the drain!" Connor said going to the kitchen and pulling out another drink. Had that always been there?

"Connor please! Drinking is not going to make the pain go away. Let's talk about this upstairs" I grabbed the drink from his hand but he took it back immediately. He walked away and brought the bottle to his lips. Putting more toxics into his body.

"Why don't you just leave? Look at you! Pathetic. Still here with some fuck up like me." He said and drank more. Tears began to form in my eyes again at his comment.
