"Who said my name?" Around the corner walks up Hallie

I look over at Connor who has his eyes widen and mouth hung open. I shake my head quickly and look between the mysterious girl and Hallie. This girl looks exactly like Hallie. Identical even. Except for the small mole the had on their upper lip. Hallie had it on her right and the girl had her's on the left. They looked like twins even.

"Who are you?" I ask to the girl who had removed herself from my Connor now. This had to be some kind of joke where in the world did this girl come from.

"Connor's girlfriend." She says calmly and smiles at me. I smile back at her and cross my arms. Hallie starts laughing and Connor is still speechless.

"Oh this one should be good." Hallie speaks up and the girl looks confused.

"Yeah it should actually. But you know what I'll let you and your girlfriend have some privacy. I'll be heading off now. Hallie care to join?" I say in my most sarcastic and perky voice. Hallie is smiling as Connor stands there patheticly not saying a thing. He doesn't make any eye contact as I walk right by him.

"I'd actually love to" She waves to the both of them and follows me as we walk back to the hotel. I had never gotten along with her. That doesn't mean things have changed. We've grown over things and I dont want to choke her anymore.

"So do you know the story to all of this." I asked her and stopped to take off my heels. I carried them in my hand and countinued walking.

"Every detail. I'll tell you once we get to your room. My feet are aching right now" She walks carefully along the dirty sidewalk. The walk isnt to far. I had to wash my feet imediatly once I got to the room. We both made sure to scrub off all the dirty from the bottom.

"So your precious boyfriend hasn't told you a word?" She asked and took a seat. I walked over to lock the door before sitting down on our-uh my bed.

"He said he would tell me when he's ready" I explain to her and reached over to grab my water bottle.

"Well that girl you saw was Lia. Yes she is my twin sister. I know I'm the prettier one. She was the goody two-shoes but oh well. Anyways Connor and her dated their senior year. He took her virginity and she's clung onto him since." She began and my mouth fell open at everything I had never been told. The stupid liar had said he doesn't date.

"Well they got sent off to diferent colleges but I guess that was enough for a break to Connor. Lia on the other hand remained "in love" with him and has been waiting to see him in 4 months now." She talked quickly and explained it as if it were nothing. I nodded and acted is if nothing had affected me

I had now been hit with the truck. There was this jealousy and mixture with emptiness in my stomach. Knowing that Connor actually had a long time girlfriend. He hadn't told me a single word. I don't understand what he was so scared of. I don't know whether this was one big cheating game. According to the girl they were still together. I just wish he had told me sooner and we could have talked about it. He can't just hide from the girl and expect to have her go away

I must look like a complete dumbass. I bet all of Connor's friends knew about Lia. They had seen me with Connor and knew he already had Lia. They probably didn't even know half of the story so they must have thought even worse. Making my situation worse. Humiliating me completly. By now I had leared not to care about what other thought of me. I guess that helped because I would be mortified if I did.
