Chapter 52-Minnesota part 4- Creating messes

Chapter 52

Remember all these are my own ideas ! Everything has been planned out really !

"Connor can we go shopping today?" I asked him. I didn't want to sit here all day and melt. I was here in a new state and I wanted to explore.

"You already have so many clothes why do you need more" he groaned. His whinnying was cute when it wasn't necessary.

"Well let's just walk around then." I scooted closer to him and laid my head in his shoulder. "Please" I said in a pleading tone.

"Fine" he gave in after a while "but it'll only be for an hour." He said sternly. I sat up and clapped my hands together.

"Thanks!" I kissed him on the cheek and sat up "I'm gonna go get ready" I said walking up the stairs.

Yesterday Connor didn't bring up the topic about him going into the tantrum. We kinda just laid around after we argued about why it would be wrong if I cheated in him and why it wasn't when he did. The topic got to me but I let it drop. Because really I don't know why I didn't get as mad as I did. You don't see me throwing myself at guys.

I threw the topic from my head and decided to take a shower. Making sure to wash my face. I got out and let my hair air dry. Adding mascara and lipstick I left my face untouched. Connor telling me how horrible all that make up was. I wasn't going to change for a guy but I've liked how naturally my face looked lately.

I wore a plain black dress that tightened around my waist and flowed to just above my knees. I wore my ruffled socks and white converse. I pined my bangs back and let the rest of my hair fall at my shoulders. I put my phone and money in my pockets that were under my dress. I would add a bag but we'd just be about for an hour.

"Connor I'm ready !" I yelled from my room. I put some perfume and deodorant as I waited for him.

"I'll be waiting in the car" he said walking down the stairs. I hurried and shut the door behind me to meet Connor in the car.

"Where are we going?" I asked him. I don't know if we were going to a mall or restaurant or anything really.

"Well there is this really cool place downtown. And it's one of the only places that doesn't have a shitload of people or elderly. But I just wanted to go to some shops or something" He said as we drove. I got excited because maybe now I could finally go and see more of Minnesota.

The place wasn't to far away from where Connor lived. We pulled up in a lot and parked the rental car. Connor took my hand and intertwined ours as we approached the plaza. Connor usually never showed affection to me when we were out in public. So when he did this it made me feel like any other teenage couple.

"I'd always come to "The Familia" and hang out with my friends on Fridays or any days just to get away from home. Its just a has a bunch of cool stuff to do and everything you know." He told me as he looked around the place. I could just imagine Connor and his friends here and just being trouble when they're not at school.

"Even during winter I would come to the plaza and to some flips with my skateboard." He laughed at some memory.

"I always wanted to live in a city where it snowed constantly during winter " I confessed. Growing up In California it was always sunshine but I guess that's what I admired the most of the state.

"It's alright. Nothing to much" he said and we walked to down the line of stores. We were just really looking at the stores not really going inside.
