Anti and Dark were practically inseparable . They laughed and played together and this went on for years . Nothing seemed to be able to break them apart.....until one day when something happens between the two that shatters their fragile friendship...

Dark's POV "Now go on Dark you'll be fine " my Dad said patting my back towards the cave entrance , but I didn't want to go , it was my first day of school and I was scared. "I-I don't wanna go Dad" I say clinging to his arm, he chuckles and kneels down to my height and took of his mask revealing his damaged face, normally at my age this would be scary but I thought he looked cool
My Dad was a soldier and during a fight he had been attacked by someone with fire and it burned some of his face to a point were it can't be healed so Dad has to wear this mask so people don't see it.
"Dark listen I know this may be scary, trust me I understand what your going through "
"But your never scared " I say
"Are you sure? I do get scared Dark, I just choose to hide my fears for my loved ones and face them" he explains, I let out a little 'ooohhhh' "Wait so if you can get scared then what are you scared of?" I ask tilting my head slightly "Failure, having everyone I love hate me, the unknown and the ocean" I giggle at the last bit "It's ok to be scared Dark we all go through it, now go on have fun at school " he ruffled my hair and stood up , I had hesitated before I started walking inside the cave "Bu-bye Dark" my Dad calls out "Bu-bye Dad" I say waving to him, he smiles and turns and before I knew it he flew off.
"Ok class welcome to your first day of school , my name is Mrs Holly " the tall lady at the front said smiling "Hello Mrs Holly" the class said in unison "Now as it is the first day how about you lot get to know each other , I'm going to ask each of you what is your name and something about yourself, does that sound good?" Mrs Holly asks we all nod and from the front to the back she ask people along the row, there were all sorts of different people
"What is your name ?" She said pointing her ruler at a boy , he looked around my age , he had brown hair , his left eye was normal but his right was all green , he had green wings and he looked like he was a bit shorter than me

"I'm Anti Septiceye!" He says in a very bubbly way smiling "And hers interesting about you Anti?" The teacher asks "I have a septic eye, my Pa said so also I'm from Ireland" he said pointing to his right eye "That's very interesting Anti"
She eventually got to me and pointed the ruler at me "And what is your name?" She asks smiling "I'm Dark Iplier..." I say kinda shyly "And what's interesting about you Dark?" She asks "Well I know how t-to fight someone plus I can turn into a shadow!" I say getting a bit of a confidence boost "That's very amazing Dark"
Anti's POV "Now who can tell me what 10 + 29 is?" Everyone except Dark's hand was down "Yes Dark?" "It's 39 " he said smiling "That's very smart Dark , well done!" The teacher praised "Hehe looks like we gotta nerd" a boy named Billy with orange wings said, some of the class giggled and laughed slightly at Dark, I looked over and he looked sad "HEY don't be mean just cuz someone's smart, he's probably way smarter than you'll ever be!" I shouted at Billy , he looked a bit shocked at how loud I was to him, I may be small but I can sure as hell yell "Thank you Anti " the teacher thanks me and continues on her lesson.
"Bye you lot have a nice day" Mrs Holly said waving as we all leave "YOU TO MRS HOLLY!" I shout back and run at me Ma with open arms, she crouches down and opens her arms and I run into them hugging her "Hey Anti, was yer first day of school ok?" She asks as we walk holding hands "Yea it was ok, I stuck up for someone today " I say smiling up at her "Oh really ? That's very good of ya Anti, do you know this persons name ?" She asks again "It was Dark Iplier , he got made fun of by this one meany cuz he was smart so I told them to shut up and that they wouldn't be as smart as Dark" I explained "Well that's very brave and nice of ya , I'm proud of you "
