Lili

Ron's reaction was to push Hermione behind him and to point his wand at me. If I hadn't known what my sister had done to her, I would have been offended.

"I thought you said Cho's left, Harry." he stuttered.

"That's not Cho, Ron," Ginny laughed. "That's her younger sister, Lili."

"Oh." Ron put his wand back in his pocket. "Sorry.""Apology accepted. As it is I should be apologizing for what Cho did." I said. There was a sudden silence.

"Hi. I'm Hermione Granger." Hermione held her hand out for me to shake, and I caught a glimpse of a silver ring on her finger before introducing myself and shaking it. Was it possible...?

Yes. It was. The whole time, Ron had been staring at her.

"Ron Weasley." Ron also introduced himself.

I decided not to tell them that Luna had told me who they were.

Ginny

Later that day, I found myself and Harry to be the only people in the room.

Oh no. This was awkward.

Why? Why me?

What did I do to deserve awkwardness?

Nothing.

Oh no.

Why did Lili leave?

I'm stuck here now. And there's no way out.

My head was reeling with these thoughts until Harry spoke.

"Um... um... Ginny.... I... uh.... er...." Harry stammered.

"Spit it out." I replied.

"I'm really sorry about Cho. I made a mistake and I realize that."

I turned to face him.

"I'm sorry too. I shouldn't have reacted in that way."

Harry stared at me for a while.

"I love you." He said.

My stomach churned, and my heart began to beat swiftly in my chest. I pulled him into a hug.

"I love you too." I whispered.

Hermione

Ron and I were sat on the stairs leading to the dormitories. His arm was around me and my head was resting on his shoulder.

"At least Chang can't hurt you anymore." Ron murmured.

"I didn't care, Ron..." I whispered.

"But I did. And I still do. I still hate myself for it as well."

"Ron, you couldn't have done anything to help."

He kissed me gently.

"I love you." he whispered.

"I love you too."

"It is my fault you know. The thing with Chang. If I hadn't caused that fight between me and Ginny, none of this would have happened."

I gasped.

"Please don't say that. It's not your fault."

Suddenly, the wave of sadness I'd felt since my dream grew.

"Hermione?" Ron sounded worried. How could he worry about me?

"Yes?" My voice was already breaking.

"You seem sad."

"Why do you say that?" I was really confused by that point.

"I don't know. But don't be afraid to cry. It might be better, crying while I'm here."

So I did.

Ginny

Finally, I was happy again!

Finally, everything was working out!

Finally, I could smile!

Finally, I could laugh!

Finally!

I was sat in a chair, facing Harry. We were both smiling at each other for the first time in what must have been months.

"Where's Ron and Hermione?" I asked.

"I dunno. D'you think they're alright?" Harry replied.

I folded my arms and raised one eyebrow.

"Was that a stupid question?"

"Yes. A very stupid one."

Harry threw a cushion at me. With a gasp, I caught it, just before it hit me. "Really, Potter? Is that the best you can do?"

Ron

Hermione was shaking like mad, and muffled sobs were escaping her each second. I hated her being upset, although I had told her that she could cry. So I didn't interfere.
