I pulled up at the McDonald's drive through.

"What do you want?" I asked Myles who was sitting in the passengers seat quietly.

He told me his order and I repeated it to the speaker.

"You alright?" I asked him.

He's probably worried about his dad. It's gotta be hard coming out to your parents and your dad not being happy about it. Well, it's not like my dad was ecstatic but he took it better than Andrew.

He sighed, "Yeah, I'm fine."

I took his hand in mine. "He'll come around."

"Yeah."

I drove up to the window to receive our meals through the window.

"Oh my gosh! Cole and- uh, your boyfriend!"

Some girl at the counter I didn't recognise was squealing.

"Uh, do I know you?" I cautiously asked.

"Oh! I go to your school, I'm a freshman. I saw what happened earlier this afternoon... the outing and all. But you guys make a really cute couple!"

I heard Myles hum next to me.

"...thanks," I muttered.

I looked at her name tag that read 'Aubrey'.

"Yeah, so I hope everything goes well now that you to are out in the open. I'm rooting for you. Gay guys are just so cute!" She squealed some more.

"Thanks, again. Look, not to be rude but can we have our food now?"

Myles gently hit me in the arm. "That was actually rude. She's being nice."

"Yeah, but I'm hungry."

I watched the girl's cheeks redden.

"Here you go." She passed us the bag.

"Thank you," Myles said politely.

"That was interesting," I said whilst driving a way.

Myles smiled. "Haha, yeah."

"Fangirls. I've been waiting for one of them to pop up," I mumbled.

I pulled into my driveway. I quickly rushed out of the car to the passengers side to open up the door for Myles.

He blushed as he got out of the car. "Thanks."

"Anytime." I kissed him on the cheek.

It seemed just the smallest bit of affection and all the little things cause Myles to flush.

I just wanted to cheer up. It's been a hectic day.

I placed the good down on the kitchen counter.

I watched Myles as he picked up his drink. He held it by the lid instead of the cup.

"Myl-" I grimaced.

I watched the coke pool on the tiles and run through the cracks.
