chapter 2

Jack didn't have any friends, because he was very shy and stuttery and that no one really wanted to hang out with the nerd of the school. At least his teachers like him, well other than the gym teacher/ coach. Jack shook his head and wrote down more notes. Mark couldn't help but to stare more at Jack. He just had something in his face that was so nice to look at. 

"mark!" the teacher, mr. Brooks called. Mark blushed and his head snapped towards the teacher

"are you even paying attention?" mr. Brooks asked a little annoyed. Mark thought for a bit, "Not really to be honest." He said with a guilty smile

"I kinda figured that, anyways pay attention or I will call you up to write the answer on the board without my help" mr. Brooks threatened. Jack knew that mr. Brooks was not. Joking about that, he has made kids go up and answer questions on their own without help, mostly they got it wrong. When that happened mr. Brooks would call on jack to answer it correctly. Mark nodded and tried to pay attention

Jack blushed a bit and smiled back shyly.Mark smiled more and stared at Jack.

"mark, can you come up here and answer the question on the board?" mr. Brooks said making jack turn around to look at the teacher. Mark blushed and sighed. He stood up and hesitantly walked up to the board. He tried to answer it the best he could.

"that is wrong, Sean can you please come over here and fix it" mr. Brooks asked jack nicely. Jack nodded and got out of his chair and walked over to the board. Mark felt embarrassed and even more so that Jack had to be the one to fix it

Jack wrote the correct answer on the board and looked at mark, "very good, Sean. Now you two can go back to your seats" mr. Brooks said. Jack nodded and walked back to his seat and sat down. Mark sat down on his seat and looked down at his hands, he was really embarrassed.

Soon the bell rung fro lunch, jack got up and put his stuff in his book bag. He closed his book bag and grabbed it. Mark quickly stood up, deciding not to let his embarrassment ruin his plans on talking to Jack.

Jack was about to walk out of the classroom when...Mark grabbed his wrist, "Jack, wait"

Jack blushed and turned around to see mark, "y-yeah?" he asked stuttering a bit."I just wanted to-" Mark was cut off by Felix, "Hey, Mark! you coming?"

Jack looked at mark and Félix, "u-um ,i'll leave you two alone" he said softly before he walked away from the two and started walking to lunch."Jack, no...." Mark tried but Jack was already gone. He sighed, "Feliiix" Mark whined

"what?" Félix asked confused. "I was trying to talk to Jack" Mark pouted

"you mean the nerd? Why were trying to talk to him?" Félix asked."Don't call him a nerd." Mark shook his head. "And he looks like a really nice and cool guy, but he's never with any friends so I just wanted to keep him company for a lil' bit."
