Character name:Hannah

I was with Griff in the mess hall and we were going through all the candy we had suckered out of the campers this morning.

He quickly ate one of the pieces of candy.

"I think I ate a wrapper,"he gagged.

"I told you to slow down,"I said to him while laughing.

"You know, Griff, I had a really good time today."I told him.

"Me too,"he replied.

"Hannah, I really like you."he said shyly.

"Wait, do you mean you like me or you like like me?"I asked.

"I...like like you."he told me.

"That's the like I was hoping for,"I said.

"So, do you think maybe we could hang out sometime?"he asked me.

"Do you mean hang out or hang out hang out?"I asked him.

"Hang out hang out,"he replied.

"Well, alright, alright."I joked and we both giggled and kept on going through the candy together.

That night, it was movie night and me and Griff were sitting on a blanket, talking.

"So, what's your favorite kind of music?"I asked him in a whispered voice.

"Country,"he replied.

"No way!Me too!"I exclaimed.

"Why do you like it?"I asked.

"Well, most of the songs are about being in prison, so I can relate."he stated and I nodded.

"Hey, there's this country music festival  all this week at Maren Harbor."he informed me.

"If we can get a counselor to take us, you wanna go?"he asked me.

"Is NASCAR a bunch good ol' boys turning left?"I said and we both laughed at my joke.

Then, we started to hold hands.

"So, does this mean we're like...I don't know, an item?"I asked him.

"If you want us to be,"he said.

"I want us to be,"I told him.

"Then, yeah. And just so ya know, I'm totally ok with calling you my girlfriend."he said and so blushed.

"And I'm completely ok with calling you my boyfriend."I said to him, still blushing.

The movie turned off, but I didn't care.

Me and Griff are dating and that's all I care about right now.

The scenes used in this book are from the new episode of Bunk'd called "The Great Escape".
