Chapter 19
Annie Pov.
Another canon goes off and I'm scared. That means whoever is left is coming after me. I eat the some more of my food even though I'm still not in the mood for it. I just want to go home. I'm tired of being in these games. I'm afraid to sleep, so I sit up, with my knives by my side. I only have five because I wasn't going to get the three that were buried in the girl's body that killed Mick. I wish I was able to deal with blood better. I wish I wasn't such a wimp. A parachute comes floating down and I open the doors of my cave so that I can grab it. I pull it into the cave and open it up. Inside is a note and it says, 'Win for me -Finn' I can win for him now. I might be losing my mind but I can kill one more. One more doesn't make a difference. I remove the leaves that are hiding me in my cave and I sit at the edge, waiting for the boy from two to come. I don't have to worry about it anymore though, because the final canon goes off.
"Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of the 66th annual Hunger Games is Annie Cresta!" I walk out of the cave and the hovercraft throws down a rope ladder and I climb up. I can't believe I won for Finnick.
