"It's Christmas!" Slade screamed, running down the hall towards the stairs, waking up everyone in the house. "It's Christmas!"

Seven in the morning and Slade is the only one in the house with such energy. I slugged out of my room after failing to wake a snoring, dead to the world Ronnie. Just as I stepped out of my room Ronnie's parents came out of the guest looking groggy as Jose held a bright awake Tino. Ronnie's parents had came on the day after Ronnie and Brad flew in.

Mom made us separate between the guys and girls, Ronnie and I in my room occasionally Tino would join us. While Dom joined Slade in his room and Brad slept in one of the guest by himself as Ronnie's parents got the other.

Tino struggled in his dad's arms trying to break free before Jose just gave in and placed his son on his feet as he took off after Slade.

Dom walked out of Slade's room rubbing at his eyes from sleep, his midnight bed hair flopped messy across his head. "Merry Christmas, baby." I smiled at him.

"Merry Christmas, Lahni." He smiled back sleepily as he walked towards me pulling me into his arms.

"Whoa! Thank you, Lahni!" We heard Slade yell from downstairs. He must have opened up the present I got him, which took me forever to locate.

I giggled at him. "What drugs did you give Slade?" I looked accusingly at Dom.

"I don't know what you're talking about." He chuckled." Come on." He pulled away tugging me towards the stairs by my hand.

Dom and I joined Slade and Tino downstairs, for an hour we spent joking around, opening presents before everyone woke up and finally made it downstairs. Dean and my mom cooked up a huge Christmas breakfast as everyone stopped in wrapping presents and went to eat.

Ronnie was still acting the same, not herself. She barely smiled at all this morning and it was starting to piss me off, even though that's pretty selfish to say. But I just want my best friend back.

Slade on the other hand was high on the spirit of Christmas, he was so hyper that I seriously began to believe he was actually on drugs. Or maybe downed some spiked Egg Nog.

We've been sitting at the dining table for hours on end just talking, we finished our breakfast a while ago but no one had the heart to leave the table just yet.

Slade cleared his throat, trying to get everyone's attention. "Thank you, everyone for my presents." He began, turning to my mom. "Even though what really only mattered to me this Christmas was spending time with people who actually care about me." He nodded, running a hand through his raven hair. "I haven't had that in so long and it was nice to break the tradition." He smiled. "So, thank you."

"You're very welcome." My mom spoke up. "But there is still one more present I need to give you." She smiled, getting up from the table and quickly walking out of the room.

Slade looked at her receiving back, confused before he looked over at me. I couldn't tell him what she was talking about because I didn't know either, so I just shrugged at him.

Soon enough my mom came back with a small gift box, it was about three inches in length and one in width.

"If this is an engagement ring..." He smirked, trailing off. "The answer is yes, I will so marry you."

Everyone laughed. "Please, she's too good for you." Ronnie snickered.

Slade looked at her in surprise. "You are so sweet."

"Plus." Dean narrowed his eyes at Slade playfully. "She's mine." He smirked as he placed a possessive arm around my mom shoulders.

My mom smiled up at him. "Dido."
