Chapter 18

"Lahni, come on!" Dom called up to me. "Or we are gonna be late."

I looked at the clock on my phone and was completely confused about the part of being late. It was only half past six and school starts at 7:15. Finishing the final touches on my dark blue eye shadow that went well with my dark blue v neck and white jean shorts as I matched it with dark blue slip on Vans.

I am loving the new warm weather.

It's the first day back to school since Spring Break and a lot has happened since we took off school. For one, Nico broke up Joanna on our trip to Maui right after she lost her wits before Ronnie kicked her ass. Kade kissed me right before he pledged his love for me and then I told Dom what happened hours after we returned home as I enjoyed my baby shower prior to that dreadful moment.

Dom freaked out on me and tried storming out to Kade's place with the undying urge to knock some sense in to him but was stopped by my mom. Meanwhile, we got an interruption from Nico, looking scared as a mouse from the fact that Joanna dropped the biggest news on him, possible.

That she's four weeks pregnant...

With his baby...

Uh... no.

I don't believe it. I can't believe, unlike Nico who has embraced this whole situation after he has gotten over the huge shock of it all. He is completely ecstatic about being a father but hasn't made any move to move back into a relationship with Joanna. As for being cordial with her, he's all for it but he said that he can no longer trust her. Which makes me wonder how he can believe that she is pregnant with his baby so easily.

I don't believe that psycho bitch for two seconds.

I can't even imagine what Ronnie is going to say when she finds out.

Waddling downstairs, I missed my footing on the last step. Luckily, Dom stood at the bottom as he caught me before I slipped.

"Thanks, baby."

He smirked. "What am I here for."

"For kisses." I giggled, puckering my lips.

Rolling his eyes playfully, he planted his lips over mine. Pulling back, he licked his lips."Mhmm. You taste like cherries." He winked.

"Want some more." I suggested seductively, worming my arms around his waist.

"You always do this right before we have to go to school." He groaned.

"I know, I do it to torture you." I smiled, sweetly.

We fell into a comfortable silence all the way to school as Dom drove us in his truck. Only because he didn't have basketball practice today.

Pulling into a park in the school parking lot, Dom helped me out after he got out of the driver's seat. Hopping from the car I just now checked him out. He had on a pair of white cargoes and black v neck matching it with his black chucks.

"You look hot today." I smirked, checking him out.

"You don't look half bad either." He teased.

Just like ever morning our friends stood in the front of the school waiting for us to get to them but this morning things felt tense as my eyes landed on Kade. He laughed at something Ryder said as he stood there like nothing happened over Spring Break.

Dom and I reached our friends, surprisingly he greeted them nicely, that is until he got to Kade. Dropping his backpack to the ground Dom sent a left hook to Kade's face. Everyone gasped as Kade flew to the ground on his back, holding his bloody nose.
