*your POV*
The boy looked at me.
"Maze?" He asked in confusion. His Scottish accent apparent to me now.
I looked over at him and started walking over to the deadheads.
"This Is the deadheads, where we decided our graveyard will be, if anyone dies. Also a nice place to take a stroll once in a while. I tried escaping here when I first showed up. Just like you wanted to. And yes, a maze. Outside those giant doors are what seems like miles of maze. No one has seen the end of it yet. But you never go past those doors unless you're a runner. A job here in the glade. That's another story for later."
I could sense the confusion radiating off him. This poor boy, he is gonna be teased.
"come on, lets continue."
*timeskip*
About an hour later we made it back to the Homestead. I showed him where he would be sleeping, which was right next to my hut, and I took him around meeting everyone. The only person he had to meet now is Newt.
I knocked on the doors of the Med-jack hut and slowly went inside. Newt was just stretching his leg around on the bed when I walked in,
"Oh hello Y/n! Whos the newbie this time? I heard about him."
"He is actually here to meet you, I have to explain the jobs with Nick and Alby later, and then Ill see to it that you have some help making it to the bonfire." he smiled and nodded as I motioned the boy to walk into the room.
Newt stuck his hand out for the boy to take,
"Newt, nice to meet ya! Wish my ankle wasn't broken or I would be the one walking you around. Y/n is takin care of ya, right?"
The boy smiled and nodded, taking Newt's hand and shaking it.
