People say that a person, at any point of time, should be touched at least nine to eleven times a day. Let it be a hug, a kiss to the forehead or even a pat on the back, the physical contact changes the day of the child. But for Chris, none of the physical contact he receives is something a child would wish for. None of it is pleasant.

Who would like to receive a punch to the face or a needle stab to the arm? Who would like to receive death threats taped to his back or a forceful knock to the head?

Clearly, not Chris.

The weather seemed to copy his mood: gloomy and dark. Chris knew it would pour anytime but he couldn't care less. He had nothing to live for and no one to love him. Not even he could come to love himself.

He was bullied.

He was beaten.

He was broken.

And through it all, he was alone.
