Jaeden x reader (short)

You woke up, feeling well rested. You rolled over to see Jaeden, but the bed was empty and cold. You stretched, then sat up.

Your feet hit the cold floor, making chills run down your spine. The door creaked as you pulled it open, heading downstairs to find Jaeden.

When you walked into the kitchen, you saw Jaeden sitting at the table with his head in his arms.

"Jaeden?" You asked, walking closer.

He lifted his head up, and you could see he had been crying.

"What's wrong Jaebear?" You sat down in the chair next to him, and hugged him.

"I-i'm scared. I'm scared that one day, i'm going to lose you" He said in between hiccups.

"Don't be scared. I'm never going to leave you. I love you with all my heart Jaeden" You assured him.

He looked up at you, new tears forming in his eyes.

"But w-what if y-you do? There's gotta b-be someone b-better than me" He started crying again.

"If there is someone better than you, someone better than me can have him" You smiled at him, rubbing his back.

"I don't think there's anyone better than you" Jaeden smiled.

You looked at him, and pulled him in for a hug.

"I love you, and I will forever" You whispered.
