Gaten x reader part 1

"Are you excited! Your party's tomorrow!" Millie squealed while walking by your side. School had just ended for the week, and your birthday was yesterday.

"I guess. Who did you invite again?" You asked Millie.

"Noah, Finn, Sadie, Caleb and Gaten said they can come" Millie told you. You had reached the bus, and it looked pretty full.

"The bell just rung! How can it get this full?" Millie exclaimed. Thankfully, there was a few seats left in the front.

"You invited Gaten?" You asked nervously. You had this small crush on him, he was in quite a few of your classes.

"Of course!" She smiled while taking a seat.

Your heart fluttered for a moment, thinking about everything that could happen at the party.

"Y/n? hello! earth to y/n!" Millie was waving her hand in front of your eyes.

"S-sorry. What were you saying?"

"Should I bring anything? Do you need help setting up before, or cleaning up after?" She rushed.

"You don't have to help set up, but you can come early if you want" You said.

"Perfect! Oh, and did we have any homework?" Millie asked.

You shared almost every single class together, which meant you could help her with her homework, and vice versa.

"Uh, I think we just had to finish the math sheet and study for science" You spoke.

"Ugh, math. But still, ITS YOUR PARTY TOMORROW!" Mills yelled, causing the whole bus to look.

"Millie!" You laughed.

"Oh! My stop's next" She said while staring out the window.

"I'm so glad mine is right after yours. I couldn't handle this bus by myself!" You giggled.

"I'll text you later, i'm just so excited! I can't contain it!" She squealed again while walking off the bus.

Time skip to the next day.

Buzz Buzz.

You woke up to your phone vibrating. You rolled over and looked at your phone.

2 missed calls from Millie, and 10 texts from Millie.

It was 10, which is a reasonable time to get up. Instead of rolling over and going back to sleep, you grabbed your phone to answer Millie.

Millie:
Today's the day!

Millie:
I can't wait!

Millie:
You up?

Millie:
GET

Millie:
UP

Millie:
You're gonna be late!!

Millie:
Even though your party starts at 3, YOURE GONNA BE LATE

Millie:
TO YOUR OWN PARTY

Millie:
Well i gotta go, i'll text you later.

Millie:
And is it cool of Gaten comes early with me?

Your heart stopped. Gaten's coming early? Shit. You jumped out of bed, nearly tripping in your blanket. You ran as fast as you could to the kitchen, ready to eat.

"Good morning y/n!" Excited for your party?" Your mom smiled, standing at the sink.

"I can't wait! And is it cool if Millie and Gaten come a little early?" You asked while sitting down.
