A/N: Sorry if the ending feels rushed, cause it was😂 But I have 2 more requests, so keep sending them in!

You heard people talking about a new kid, but who ever comes to Derry?

It was last period, Math, when you saw the new kid.

He was bigger than the other kids, but that doesn't matter.

His hair is golden brown, and his eyes are warm and caring. He looked at the back of the class, and his eyes met yours.

"Class, this is Ben. Ben, introduce yourself with something about you" The teacher said before sitting down in her chair.

"I'm Ben Hanscom, and I like reading" He said nervously. He looked over at the teacher, then sat down at an empty desk in front of you.

"Today we're going to be learning how to multiply..." You spaced out, thinking about the new kid.

Before you knew it, the bell had rung and it was the weekend. It took you a moment to gather your things, resulting in you being the last one out.

The library was where you felt safe; safe from the prying eyes that you felt on you everywhere.

Ever since all those kids started going missing, it never felt like you were truly alone.

You got settled with your book, and you heard someone else walk in.

You looked up and saw Ben, your eyes meeting his again. You looked away, causing you to miss him blush.

He talked to the librarian, and sat down.

You immersed yourself into your book, forgetting about the real world.

Around 20 minutes have passed, and you heard someone sit down beside you. You looked up and saw Ben.

"Hi. I'm Ben" He said with a small smile.

"I'm in your last period math. I'm y/n" You smiled back at him.

"So you like reading too?"

**Time Skip**

The next day he wasn't at the library, or the next, or the next. You began to feel sad. What if he didn't like you? What if he got bored of you? All these negative thoughts were swimming around, which made you feel worse.

As you were waking home, Henry walked up to you.

"Hey little shitface. Where's your friends? Don't you have any?" He teased.

Before you could answer, Belch and Victor came up behind you.

"Hold her tight" Henry instructed them, and pushed you up against a tree.

"Why you been hiding? Scared? No friends to help you?" He breathed into your ear.

"Leave me alone!" You grunted, trying to kick him.

"Ooh, look at that boys! We got a kicker! Are you this rough in bed?" He smirked, causing Belch and Victor to laugh.

"Lift up her shirt" He commanded, pulling his knife out of his pocket.

"No! Henry- please! Stop it!" You cried out, kicking even harder.

"Hold her still, dumbasses!" He yelled. Their grip on you was even tighter now.

"No more hiding. No one hides from Henry" He smirked again, lightly pressing his knife onto your stomach.

Fear settled in, but all you could do was whimper.
