eleven x reader (platonic and short)

You were standing beside Mike with a kitchen knife in your hand, ready to fight off the demodogs that were surrounding Will's house.

There was a loud noise coming from the side of the house, so everybody turned their attention in that direction.

In the blink of an eye a demodog was thrown through the window. It laid in the corner like a rock.

"Is it dead?" Dustin asked.

Hopper moved forwards and poked it with his shoe.

"Yeah" He hummed in response.

While everyone was focusing on the demodog, the front door unlocked, and was slowly opened by something from the outside.

In stepped Eleven, wearing smudged eyeliner, dark clothes and her hair was slicked back.

"Mike" She smiled.

"Y/n" She turned to you.

Mike was closer, so she hugged him first.

"I've been waiting. I never forgot, I called everyday for-"

"Three hundred and fifty three days" Eleven finished his sentence.

"You- How do you know?" Mike asked.

"I saw you" She answered.

"What? You saw me and you still didn't-"

"Mike, she's here now. She's here now" You comforted him.

"I missed you so much" You embraced Eleven. She was the only other girl last year, and you enjoyed spending time with her. Your heart broke when she left.

"I missed you too" She smiled.

"Where did you get those clothes from?" You asked her.

She froze.

"My... sister" She hesitated.

"Sister?" Mike gasped.

"I saw her in the rainbow room. Her name is Kali, she's eight" Eleven stated.

"Rainbow room?" Hopper looked concerned.

Eleven nodded.

"I tried talking to momma when she showed it. It was a dream circle" She said.

"Dr- dream circle?" Hopper stuttered.

"Re...peat" Eleven carefully pronounced the word.

Hopper nodded his head in response.

"So you found your mom, saw the dream circle and found your sister?" Mike asked.

"Yes" Eleven said.

Nobody spoke for a moment.

"I'm so glad you're back" You gave Eleven a final big hug.
