So you figured out what you were going to be for Halloween?

Eliza🎭:

Yeah, I've been working in the costume department for The Little Mermaid, and the Drama Teacher said that Raquel and I could borrow some costume pieces for Halloween.

Here's a pic of me in my Steampunk!Asami Sato costume. Raquel is going as Steampunk!Korra. Both characters are from the Legend of Korra TV series, following the Avatar The Last Airbender TV series.

Nice, nice, but why the Steampunk theme?

Eliza🎭:

It was Raquel's idea. Her latest novel is a futuresque steampunk dystopian story, inspired after watching Howl's Moving Castle with me during my Studio Ghibli marathon while I was in the hospital.

Artemis🏹:

So you guys like a lot of anime, huh?

Eliza🎭:

I'm just into ATLA and Ghibli, really. There's a lot of disturbing things in other animes.

Raquel and I are both hoping we can use our costumes for the next time we get a convention here in Dakota City.

Superboy🐺:

Nice.

Eliza🎭:

Do you guys have your costumes yet?

Miss Martian👽:

I'm going shopping for costumes with my cheer squad after school!

Artemis🏹:

My mom's been helping me make mine.

Superboy🐺:

I'll just use a roll of toilet paper, I guess.

Eliza🎭:

Ever the creative type, huh?

Fun Fact: Seychelle Gabriel, the faceclaim for Eliza, was actually the voice actress for Asami Sato in LOK and that is her in the picture wearing a steampunk-inspired Asami Sato cosplay at the LOK Comic Con table
