How are you doing?

Eliza:

Kaldur:

Did you find your parents again?

Eliza:

Yeah. Did yours get back too?

Kaldur:

Yes, I am taking a short break to spend some time with them.

And just so you are prepared for the next group chat, Zatanna has joined the team. Her father agreed to take on the Helmet of Fate, who required a host in repayment for helping to return the adults and the world to normal.

Eliza:

Oh my gosh, that... that's terrible.

How is she doing?

Kaldur:

She is distraught, but she is moving into the mountain to stay with Miss Martian, Superboy, and myself.

Eliza:

I should text her and make sure she's okay, just in case.

Kaldur:

And what of you? How are you doing?

Eliza:

Well, my parents are freaking out because of the whole adults-kids separation thing and they rescheduled my appointment but now I have to wait another week for it because why not just prolong the agony as long as we can?

Honestly, I am really, really scared.

Kaldur:

Do not be. I will protect you.

Eliza:

How? You can't fight cancer, Kal.

Kaldur:

Okay, that actually made me laugh.

That's very sweet of you. Raquel's the only one who's ever promised me something like that.

I'm still nervous about my appointment though.

Kaldur:

If you get cancer again, I promise I will come and visit you in the hospital, alright?

Okay, I'm gonna hold you to that promise later.

But for now, it's been a very long, very tiring day, and I'm going to bed.
