"Welcome home, Buck," I tell Bucky as we walk through the doors of the new Avengers Tower.

He grins like a kid in a candy store as Jarvis addresses him right off the bat, "Sergeant Barnes, welcome home!"

"Jarvis, the whole team is home!" Tony smiles as he walks in behind us, happy to be back in the States.

"Welcome home, Avengers!" Jarvis prattles excitedly. "Now, Sergeant Barnes, I must inform you that you've been assigned to the fourth floor."

Tony knew from the beginning that separating Bucky and me would be a disaster, so he put us on the same floor. I agreed with him — splitting us up just isn't an option anymore.

Our floor is a unique one, since Tony had to account for two of us living on it. Off of the elevator and the stairs, you walk up to a massive living area with a fully-stocked gourmet kitchen, comfy couches, dining table for 10, 80 inch television, and a number of other novel amenities. Beyond that is a hallway leading to an office, personal gym, bathroom, and a sprawling bedroom with a California King bed.

It's a nice little setup, and I know Bucky won't mind.

"Who else is on the 4th floor?" Bucky asks.

     I smile.

"Why, Captain Rogers, is also on the fourth floor," Jarvis says, pleased to have someone new to talk to. "Master Stark felt it was best for everyone, given your extensive history with the Captain."

Natasha, Sam, Wanda, Rhodey, and Clint giggle like children. Tony grins as he walks up the staircase to the second floor. Bruce, Vision, and Thor walk away scandalized.

     Oh boy.

I take Bucky's hand and pull him with me to the stairs, saying, "Come on, Buck."

He sighs and snags a plum from the paper bag in my arm with his free hand, saying, "I'm literally right here, Steve."

Ugh, brat.

I take it back from him, firmly standing my ground as he starts to protest, "Uh-uh, Buck. I told you that we're saving these!"

"I just want one," he pleads.

He's too cute for this.

I grin and hold it up over his head, "Gonna fight me for it?"

He smiles and surprises me with a quick kiss, leaving me absolutely defenseless.

In a flash, he snatches the plum away from me and runs up the stairs.

     Goddammit, Bucky.

Tony laughs as Bucky runs past him and takes to the third flight of stairs. Then, he's gone, probably enjoying his prize on our floor.

     What a brat.

     At least he's mine.

"My dad would've loved this," Tony tells me as I walk up the stairs to the second floor. "He talked about you and Bucky a lot when I was a kid, especially about how you two were always causing trouble together. He said he would never forget your laughs." Tony looks at me and smiles. "Seeing you two together now, I know exactly what he meant."

"Thanks, Tony," I smile as I make my way up to the third flight.

"I'll see you in the morning, Cap," Tony says as I disappear to find Bucky. "Try to behave, if you can."
