As I skipped through the dark, snowy woods. I felt another presence.
"Helloooo!" I cheered. After a while of waiting for a response no one replied. I huffed and turned around, stomping away. I came to the familiar bars. I was about to step through when I heard a sharp snap behind me.
"Don't you know how to greet a new friend?" the voice asked.
"Depends are they going to murder me?" I asked. I heard the voice chuckle.
"Now why would I do that?" the voice asked.
"Just a hunch." I replied, taking note of what the dust around really was. I turned around and tilted my head at the skeleton.
"Names-"
"Sans." I said interrupting him. This was the same scene. He let his smile drop, as did I.
"(Y/n)." he said.
"You know I keep coming back hoping that you would have changed. Praying that I could finally end this." I said, looking down.
"Look, I'm doing this and you know why."
"You're murdering everyone. Everyone you are trying to protect..are dead." I felt myself losing it. I collapsed to the ground, laughing like a mad person.
"(Y/n)..."
"I can't!" I screamed, tears streaming down my cheeks. There were so many emotions running through me. My body was shutting down.
Sans just stood there. Either in shook or trying to determine what I was doing. I slowly stopped crying. I pushed myself to shaky knees and stumbled over to Sans.
"Sans...Can you do me a favor?" I asked. Stepping a few inches in front of him.
He didn't say anything but nodded in response. I reached a hand out and placed it on his chest. My hand trailed down until I came to the handle of his knife.
"Pull youself together." I muttered, before pulling the knife out of his pocket and ramming it into my chest. Sans eyes filled with confusion then panic. I fell to the ground. Eyes glazed over.
sans dropped to his knees and started to panic. He looked like he had come out of a trance.
"(Y-Y/n)!" he said. I felt my eyes glaze over. I was going numb. I looked at him and smiled. It was real for once. I felt the warmth slowly take over as the options appeared.

I pressed the continue button.
Sans POV
I felt something snap inside. I collapsed next to her.
"(Y-y/n)!" I choked out. She smiled at me. I felt myself start to panic.
"O-oh god...dear god what have I done?!" I screamed. Shaking. I looked at the knife and didn't hesitate as I pulled it out of her.
"I'm sorry." I muttered. Before ramming into my soul.

"Sans." a familiar voice called. I sat up and looked around. I looked towards the voice. I saw (Y/n). She was standing next to Papyrus. I stood up and looked at them. Open mouth. (Y/n) had a large smile on her lips.
"COME ON LAZY BONES!" PAPYRUS called. I took a step forward before sprinting towards them. I pulled them both into a hug before muttering a stream of apologizes.
"Gosh you big bone bag. Calm down." (Y/n) said, lifting my head and kissing my head.
"THE OTHERS ARE WAITING!" PAPYRUS CALLED. He grabbed my hand and started walking towards a light. (Y/N) followed behind. Looking like her old sane self.
"Congrats on snapping out of it." she said, before running ahead of Papyrus and disappearing into the light.
Not soon after we disappeared through it as well. I was finally sane.
