Cross x abused! depressed! Reader

I held my hands over my ears, waiting for him to leave. I heard him screaming to open the door. I whimpered as I heard the door practically fly off the hinges. The closet door slammed open and he yanked me out.

"YOU BRAT I GIVE YOU EVERYTHING AND THIS IS HOW YOU TREAT ME?" he screamed, he threw me to the ground and started kicking me. I knew better then to try to fight back so I laid there, waiting for it to be over.

I must have passed out or something because when I woke up it was the middle of the night. I looked at myself and saw bruises forming on my arms. I sighed and got up, wincing at the sharp pains shooting through my body. 

I finally pushed myself to my feet and looked at my phone. It was 10:35 at night. I pressed my ear to the door and listened. I heard him downstairs, sleeping. I sighed with relief. Glad that I didn't need to deal with him until later. I walked to the window and carefully opened it. I swung my legs out the window and carefully jumped down.

I started walking. I wasn't going any where specific, I just didn't want to be here. I must have walked for at least and hour before I stopped. I was in the middle of the woods. It wasn't anything special. It was dark. 

I sat down against a tree, and looked around. I leaned against the tree and closed my eyes, listening to the sounds of the forest. It was comforting. I felt myself slowly falling asleep.

Cross's POV

"Shut up Chara." I muttered, continuing to walk.

"Oh come on! It's so boringgggg!" they complained. I shook my head but didn't stop. 

"Chara I've told you so many times yo-"

"What's that?" they asked, interrupting me. I looked towards what they were talking about. It looked like a person. I shrugged but kept walking.

"What are you doing! They could be hurt." Chara said. 

"I don't care."

"Come on! Nothing fun happens anymore." they said. I sighed and looked back at the thing.

"Fine." I said, deciding to humor them. I heard them clapping. 

"It looks like a girl." They said as we came closer. It was. The girl was asleep. She looked...cute

"Ohhh Cross has a crushhh." Chara chanted. 

"Shut up." I bent down in front of the girl and saw she was still breathing.

"She's breathing, she's fine." I said, getting up to leave. Before Chara could say anything, the girl woke up.

"Hello?" she asked. I turned back and she was rubbing her eyes. I froze as she looked at me. 

"Cross! Maybe's she's lost." Chara said. I turned back to the girl.

"You lost?" I asked. She shook her head.

"N-no." 

"Then I'll be going." 

"W-wait..."she said, standing up. I turned to her and waited for her to continue.

"Well don't just leave her!" Chara said. I sighed and rubbed my skull.

"What's your name?" the girl asked. I stayed silent.

"Okk.....I'm (Y/n)." she said. I nodded and sat down. She looked confused but sat down next to me.

Your POV

It was kinda awkward. It was an ok awkward though. I was looking around for something to talk about when I saw some flowers. I got and idea and started weaving them together.

The skeleton watched me but didn't say anything. A few moments later I had a flower crown. I scooted so I was facing him and plopped it on his head. I smiled while he looked confused. I laughed at how cute he looked. 

I swear he smiled.

Ever night for the past three weeks I've met Cross, I learned his name the 2nd week, in the woods. We just sit and chat. It's nice to have a friend.

I was currently getting ready to leave when he walked in. 

"Where are you going?" he asked. 

"n-no where." I said, holding my bag behind me. He looked at my hands.

"You're a liar. Just like your mom."

"Don't you dare talk about mom." I growled. I never stood up to him. He looked surprised. 

"Oh?" 

"You weren't there for her. You were suppose to protect her. You were suppose to protect me. You're my father for Christ sake!" I screamed. I felt my anger boil over. He walked over to me and raised his hand.

He brought it down and I practically fly across the room. I held my cheek and watched him walk closer.

"Don't you dare talk to me like that! I am you father and you will respect me!" he screamed in my face. He raised his hand to hit me again but was pulled back. Cross was holding him by the throat. 

"Touch her again and will kill you." he said darkly. He threw him across the room. "Dad" got up as fast as possible and ran. I held me cheek, frozen.

"(Y/n)."  Cross said, bending down in front of me I looked at him while holding my cheek. Tears streaming down my face. 

"Thank you." I cried, hugging him. He seemed surprised but hugged back. 

"Why didn't you tell me sooner?" he asked, picking me up and moving me onto my bed. I looked down and shrugged.

"I didn't think you would care.." I muttered out. He sighed loudly and pulled me closer.

"Of course I would care. I wouldn't have hung out with you for this long otherwise." he said, he laid my head on his lap and covered me with a blanket.

"Go to sleep. It's been a long day." he said, stroking my head. I smiled and nodded. 

"Thank you Cross." I said yawning. 

"You're welcome." he whispered, leaning down and kissing my head. That was the last thing I felt before I fell asleep.

Error-*Hits me* Are you even trying anymore?

Me-Shut up!!! I know it's not that good and I feel bad. 

Error-Then try harder.

Me-Why do I tolerate you? Anyway here you guys go! Hope you enjoyed I kinda got stuck on how to end it. Buh Bye!
