"Why not?" I inquired. I earned a sigh of irritation.

"Because, (Y/n), you are not ready."

I huffed out a sigh of anger, "How can you know if I'm not ready, If you don't give me a shot?" they looked down at me. Wondering how such a small being could be so demanding.

"Fine," they said, raising their arms in surrender. "This will be what determine the rest of your life though. Are you really sure?" I anxiously nodded my head.

"Yes!" they nodded their head and waved their hand, summoning a portal.

"Do not disappoint." I took in the warning and hopped through the portal.

I smiled as I took my first few steps in the 'normal' world. I was a goddess in training. Hopefully soon to be a full goddess. The nature goddess to be more specific.

I glanced at my surroundings. Taking in the blue sky, the green trees. The birds tweeting and twittering. In order to gain my full abilities, I had to help something. It didn't really matter what but it had to be something major. Like, life or death.

I was strolling around, not going anywhere specific, just waiting for something. Suddenly, out of the crystal clear silence, there was a piercing howl.

I started making my way towards the sound as quickly as possible. When the sound was in the clearing in front of me, I jumped into a tree. I stepped from branch to branch until I came into a clearing.

I glanced around for the sound. My eyes finally landed on two tangled forms. They looked to be fighting. I narrowed my eyes and tried to decipher what was happening. It looked like two...skeleton wolves?? I shook my head and cleared all and any questions out.

I focused back on them and noticed that one was bigger than the other. The bigger one was on top of the other, biting it in an angry sort of way.

My eyes kept darting around. Trying to decide if this was a case where I should intervene. It wasn't until I saw one movement that I jumped down.

"Enough," I ordered. My voice ringing loud and full of power. Both of the wolves stopped and looked at me. I stepped towards the two and rested my hands on my hips. The bigger wolf moved to its feet.

"And who would you be?" they growled, their voice rough and angry. I did not reply but took another step forward. Towards the other wolf. They were covered in blood, multiple teeth and claw marks riddled their body.

"Not another step." the intimidating wolf said, I continued on, not listening to their warning. I heard a snap and when I turned my head I saw the wolf leaping towards me.

Another crack was heard and the wolf jumping towards me was tackled. The victim wolf had gotten to its feet and tackled the other.

I watched in curiosity for a few seconds before raising my arm. The two wolves followed and became suspended in air.

The larger wolfs eyes filled with terror. While the others filled with wonder.

"That is quite enough." I sharply snapped. I was upset.

"Who-who are you?" the bigger wolf asked, their voice quivering.

"Nightmare, I honestly would have expected you not to have been this way. At least a little humanity should have been shown." I murmured, thinking about how to handle this situation.

"How do you know my-"

"Not important." I paced about a bit before stopping and letting the smaller wolf down. It laid down but didn't stop looking at me. Nightmare looked at me with horror. "This will be the last chance you get. One more mistake like this and there will be repercussion."
