"(Y/n). Get down from there."
"Never!"
"I'm going to call Cross."
"Do it! I'll fight him."
"Cross is going to kill me if I let you get hurt please come down."
"No!" I replied, refusing to come out of this tree. My ears were flattened against my head in refusal. Ink was on the phone with who I assumed was Cross. I held onto the tree limb and waited.

"Where is she?" a familiar voice asked. My ears perked up at the sound. I looked towards the clearing and saw Ink and Cross walking towards me.
"There." Ink said, pointing to my small figure. I didn't say anything but growled.
"Come down," Cross said, almost no emotion in his voice.
"No!" I shouted, refusing to move.
"We have cookies!" I hear Chara call. I think for a moment before climbing from the tree. I stopped in front of them and Cross dropped the bag of cookies in my hands. I took them and started nibbling on them. My tail moving happily behind me.
"Thanks, Cross." Ink says, a look of relief on his face. Cross doesn't say anything but nods. He starts walking and I follow behind him, munching on the cookie. Once Ink was out of sight, Chara started talking.
"Why were you in the tree?"
"Because," I say bluntly. Cross glanced at me but didn't stop. I finished the cookies and shoved the bag into Cross's pocket before skipping ahead.
"(Y/n)?" Cross called out. I turned around, my tail flicking to the side.
"Hmm?"
"You know you really are a cat."
"Excuse me?!"
