Sans x Dying! Reader

I was growing weaker everyday. It wasn't a surprise. We didn't know what was wrong with me but we knew I was going to die. 

Well I knew. No one else would believe me but I could feel it. I no longer had the energy. I was currently walking to say good bye to my best friend. 

I knocked on their door. 

"Hey." I said when they opened the door.

"Hey (Y/n)." Frisk said. Opening the door. I shook my head.

"Nah." I said, waving her off, "I gotta go soon anyway." shoving my hands in my pockets. 

"Where?" Frisk asked, leaning against the door. I bit my lip. Depending if I should tell them. I shook my head and handed them a small device and two notes. 

"Hey kiddo." a familiar voice said form behind Frisk. My heart started beating faster. 

"H-hey Sans." I said, smiling. He laughed a little and looked at what Frisk was holding. 

"What's that?" he asked. 

Oh! Uhm Frisk...look at the notes 15 minutes after I leave. Give the one labeled S to Sans." I said before turning around and leaving. "Neither of you look at them until 15 minutes after I have left!" I called back, racing off.

Sans POV

Frisk handed me the note and shrugged. They walked away after closing the door, leaving me there with the note. 

I debated if I should actually wait. I decided against it and opened the note. 

     Dear Frisk, 
So if you are reading this it's finally time. The device I gave you says how many heart beats I have left. When it hits 0 I will die. I tried to tell everyone something was wrong but no one believed me. Not that I expected you guys too. Nothing was actually wrong with me. Nothing they could find at least. Anyway please remember this is not anyones fault. I'm sick. That's it. I love you all. Also please give the other note to Sans. Thanks. One last thing, don't wear dark colors to my funeral. I don't want my death to be sad. I'll be at our favorite place. So then after I die you can at least find me. Don't want my body to be eaten or anything.

I felt my eyes widen. I raced towards where Frisk was. 

"Give me the other note." I demanded. 

"Why?"

"Just do it! You gave me the wrong one." I said, practically ripping the one that they had in their hand.

        Dear Sans, 
This would be a lot more scarier if I knew I had to face you after this. I'm going to make this short as I don't have much time. I love you. I have for a long time. I just never knew how to tell you. I decided to give this to you before I died. I'm sure Frisk will explain everything to everyone after I'm gone. It's been difficult. Seeing you so often and not even getting a chance to tell you how deeply and utterly in love I am with you. It's funny isn't it. That these are going to be the last things I do. I only have a few left. So I better go. I love you Sans. Don't forget me please.

"Where is she?" I demanded. Knowing Frisk read the other note. They told me and I grabbed the device and left. I teleported and looked around.

"(Y/n)!" I screamed. I saw her. She was sitting on the edge of the cliff. She looked so peaceful. I glanced at the device while running towards her.

She turned to me and looked surprised. 

"Sans?" she asked. Standing up.

"Why didn't you tell us?" I asked. Holding her in place.

"I thought it was best if you guys didn't know. I didn't want you guys to worry."

"W-we could have done something." I said, tears dripping down my face. She looked surprised but smiled and wiped my tears.

She looked into me eyes. I placed my hands on her face and pulled her lips to mine. I felt her gasp slightly but soon kissed back.

We pulled apart. Her face bright red. I pulled her into a hug. 

"I-I can't live without you." I stuttered.

She pulled away a bit and smiled, tears falling down her face.

"You won't."

"I'll be right here." she said, poking where my soul was.

I pulled her back into a hug. Falling to my knees.

"I love you." I heard her whisper, before going limp.

I knew she was gone. But I screamed. Begging for her to come back. But knowing deep down, that she was gone. 

So I got this idea from a mystic messenger one-shot. I don't remember who it was by but yeah. They got the idea from a manga I think? I however can not remember for the life of me what it was called. So if anyone knows please comment it.
