"Smile and wave." I said through a fake smile. I loved being an idol but it was hard sometime. I gave one last wave before stepping into my car. I slammed the door and buckled up. The driver nodded and started driving.

I pulled out my phone and saw a large amount of notifications on my latest Instagram post. I smiled and saw I had one missed call from my manager. I groaned but pressed the call button anyway.

"(Y/n)!" I heard him scream. I sighed.

"Yo."

"Don't 'yo' me! You were suppose to call when you finished." he scolded.

"Sorry sorry. I just finished." I said, rolling my eyes. I heard him sigh.

"Anyway, you're going to a new school tomorrow." he said.

"What's wrong with the schooling I have now?" I asked. I enjoyed the home schooling.

"Your grandma called and gave me a 'talking to', she wants you to have a normal life. Don't see how that's possible but, I thought about it and decided that it would be good." he said. I didn't respond. I loved my grandma so I knew there was no way I could deny it.

"Fine." I said, hanging up. I was about to put my phone down when there was a bing.

You start tomorrow

I groaned and shoved my phone into my pocket.

"Just great."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I stepped out of my car and shut the door, locking it as I walked into the school.
As I walked past the groups of people I heard the whispers. Guess even in a school of monsters I can't be invisible.
I found my locker and started putting my stuff in. Next to me was a skeleton. He wore mostly red and had glasses. I must have been staring because he looked at me strange.
"Sorry!" I said snapping out of my daze, giving him a smile. He scoffed and turned away quickly. I shrugged and grabbed my stuff for my first class. I sighed and headed to my class.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

It's been about a week and I have made a lot of friends. Most of them probably like me because I am an Idol. But some like me because of me!

I bit my lip and wandered the halls some more, trying to find the library. I stopped at a set of doors labled 'Library'. I smiled and opened the door.

A peaceful silence was over the room. I loved it. No one asking questions or screaming.

I took my bag and looked around for a spot. It was surprisingly full for after school. The only place I saw open was by the skeleton I met the first day.

I learned his name was Goth. I grasped onto my bag tightly and headed towards him. I pulled out my chair and sat down. Not looking at him. I heard him set his book down. I peeked over my book and saw him looking at me.

He was me looking and quickly looked back at his book. I shrugged and focused back on my studies.

~~~~~~~~~~
I groaned in frustration. I was trying to schedule a time to take my Grandma out for dinner but I couldn't find any. Not with practice and school.
"Do you think you have a bad life?" Goth commented. I looked up and saw him clutching onto his book. Hands almost tearing a page.
"Um.."
"Just because you have small issues doesn't mean you need to complain." he said, with that he picked up his stuff and stormed out. The room had cleared out. Minus a few.
I sat there in surprise. What was that about?
"He doesn't like you because you're and idol." a voice said, sitting down. I looked up and saw Pallet. (Fell pallet)
"Why?"
"I'm not even sure. He just has that view on people like that." Pallet said shrugging. I looked forward and saw that Goth had left a book on the table.
I grabbed it and stood up.
"Try the roof." Pallet said. I nodded and raced off.
~~~~~~~~~

I reached the door to the roof, panting and gasping. I opened the door and stepped out into the cold. I took a moment to regain my breath. I looked around for any sign of him.

I scanned the area and saw him sitting near the ledge. Not like threatening to jump but, casual? I walked forward and sat down next to him. Not saying a word. He looked like he wanted to say something but didn't.

I took the book out of my jacket and passed it towards him.

"Good book." I replied, not looking at him. He grunted in response but didn't say anything. We sat in a silence for a while until I decided to break it.

"I was talking about when I could take my grandma to dinner." I said, glancing down. He didn't say anything but I could tell he seemed slightly surprised.

"Sorry." he muttered, barely above a whisper.

"It's fine. Most people have that stereotype." I said, shrugging. I was used to it. I yawned, realizing how late it was.

I felt something pull my head down and in a moment my head was on his shoulder. He was looking away but I could tell he was blushing.

"Pallet tell you I was here?" he asked. I nodded.

"Yup."

"Not surprised. That idiot ships everything." I heard him sigh in irritation.

"You know what I realized?" I said.

"Hmm?"

"For once, I'm glad my grandma wanted me to be normal.
