Fell! Sans x Deaf! Reader

I woke up to the vibration of someone running. My eyes shot open and I scrambled to get hidden. I had fallen down a month or so ago. I had gotten past the goat lady and stayed hidden after that. 

I didn't want to come in contact with anymore monsters. I covered my mouth with my hand and prayed for them to leave. 

It was even worse because I couldn't hear anyone talking. I could only feel the vibrations of their feet hitting the floor. 

I was deaf. There was never a time that I was able to hear. I focused on the vibrations. I felt the steps come closer and closer. In a matter of seconds I was picked up. I flailed and flailed, trying to get away. 

The person, errr, skeleton, held me in place. From the way he was moving his mouth I assumed he was yelling. It was difficult to read his lips since, ya know he doesn't actually have lips. 

But I somehow managed. He was screaming about capturing me? I didn't do anything. There really wasn't much I could do. (I'm going to put "" over what the other characters say. But that just means (Y/n) is reading their...lips?)

"HUMAN! HOW DARE YOU DON'T REPLY TO THE GREAT AND TERRIBLE PAPYRUS." they screamed, I started pointing to my bag on the ground. Papyrus, what I was assuming his name was because he talked in 3rd person, didn't seem to understand and threw my over his shoulder. 

I sighed and just accepted my fate.

Papyrus had thrown me into a shed. He took most of my belongings, including my sweater. I shivered in the corner. Wondering how long it was going to be until I froze to death. I felt the door slam open and Papyrus walked in. 

He started screaming at me but I was too cold to bother trying to read what he was saying. 

I felt him stomp over to me and open the gate. He grabbed me by the back of me shirt and dragged me outside. 

He dropped me in the snow and stood over me. I looked up at him and started to think of a way I could tell him I was deaf. 

I thought about writing it in the snow but when I did he stomped on my hand. I looked around, I was terrified at what he was going to do.

"HUMAN IF YOU DO NOT REPLY TO ME YOU WILL HAVE TO FACE THE CONSEQUENCES." I started to shaking slowly wondering what he was going to do. 

He summoned a bone and threw it next to me, making me jump. I placed my hands over my head and prayed it would be over quick.

Sans POV

Boss was outside doing something. I peaked out the window and saw him standing in front of something. He moved slightly and I saw that there was a human.

I walked outside and stood a little back behind Papyrus. He summoned a bone and threw it at the human. They made a whimper noise and jumped back. Papyrus started yelling at them but they just looked at him. 

They looked terrified but didn't reply. I was getting confused. A normal being, monster or not, would say something. 

That's when it clicked. 

"B-boss!" I called, teleporting in front of him, stopping him from shooting them with another bone.

"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING? GET OUT OF THE WAY." he screamed at me in anger. 

"Boss I don't think the kid can hear you." I said, looking at them.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN?" I ignored him and turned to the kid.

"Can you hear me?" I asked. They shook their head. "How can you understand me?" The pointed to my teeth. 

"WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?" Papyrus yelled. 

"They're deaf." I said. I noticed the kid nodding furiously. Papyrus gave me a confused look.

"WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?" 

"They can't hear you. But they can read your teeth." I said, looking at the kid. They were shivering. I took off my coat and placed it over them, helping them up. 

"WHERE ARE YOU TAKING THEM?"

"Inside, they're going to freeze otherwise." I stated. Papyrus looked like he was going to yell at me but ended up not.

Your POV

It has been a few days since I had 'moved' in with the skeleton Bros. I learned that the skeleton who saved me was named Sans.

I was given a notepad and a pen as my way of communicating. 

I felt Sans sit on the couch. I looked at him and waved. His face went red and he looked away. 

After a moment he faced me and took a deep breath. He opened his mouth and said a small phrase that I would never forget.

"I love you." I was stunned. Sans, the guy known for being cold, just said he loved me. I paused for a moment before scooting closer to him. 

I took my pad and pen and scribbled down a response.

'I love you too.'

I turned the pad to him and blushed. His face went even redder. 

"H-how did you-"

I cut him off by placing my lips on his teeth. When I pulled back I tapped his teeth with my pointer finger. He paused and realized. I could read lips. I smiled and hugged Sans. He hugged back. 

I knew he said something. I couldn't hear it, but I felt it.
