I got swamped with work ;-;

I tapped my fingers against the cold table. This was not how I planned my day to go. When I rushed out to the road to get Frisk, the knife fell out of my pocket. Now I'm not stupid and I did wipe the blood off.

Sans brought me in and was currently off somewhere. He locked me in this room with my hands and feet tied up. I had a million thoughts running through my head on how I could get myself out of here.

I started picking at the ropes as much as I could with my hands. Which was very difficult as they were tied together. I lifted my head when the door slammed shut.

"So kiddo," Sans walked towards me and leaned against the table facing towards me, "wanna explain?" He slid the knife towards me.

I leaned back in my chair, " Would you believe knitting?" He chuckled a little and shook his head. I sighed and tilted my head back. Looking at him through narrowed eyes.

"So, why did you do it?" Sans asked, his expression staying the same.

"Carlos Ortro. Formerly part of the gang 'Mafiatale'."

"It's a mob actually." Sans interrupted.

"A mob? Please, it's just a gang with more class. Anyway, formally part of 'Mafiatale' and was fairly good at his job. But the bastard had a secret. You already know that though. Don't you?" I tilted my head back up and leaned it to the side lazily.

He looked away and frowned slightly. Which was interesting since he was a skeleton. He looked back at me but didn't say anything. I took this as a sign to continue.

"Look, I was hired and I did my job. That's it." I said, keeping it simple. He sighed scratched his skull.

"Why kill him. Why not just give the police, or even better me, the information?" I paused for a moment before bursting out in laughter.

"You seem to think it's that easy. You know how much shit I would get just because of this information?"

"But why go to such lengths to bring justice?"

"Sometimes, we have to do bad things to get good results. When that happens, people often forget all the good you did. You should know that." I said, now waiting for his response.

He didn't say anything for a moment before standing up straight and walking over to me. He reaches for my hands and started to untie the rope. He untied the ones around my ankles as well and within moments, I was free.

I rubbed my wrists and moved them around. I looked back at Sans who had a hand outstretched to me.

"We owe you. We saw the list and honestly, half of us were relieved more than angry. I know a few people who would be glad to meet you if you would allow them to." He offers. I debated it for a moment. This could be a trap and could lead to my death. But with the position I'm in I'm not too sure I have a choice.

I grabbed his hand and the moment I did there was a flash of blue and we were in a different room. I felt dizzy as I grasped onto Sans arm to steady myself.

"Heh, should have warned ya," Sans said with a shrug I nodded a little before we started walking. Sans led me to a large black door. He knocked before pushing the door. We walked in and were greeted by a wide variety of..things?

There were two goat people, a dinosaur, a fish, another skeleton and one human. That being Frisk. They all paused and looked at me. It was an awkward atmosphere before Sans said something.

"This is.." He paused and looked at me. Realizing he never asked my name. I sighed and rolled my eyes.

"I'm (Y/n), the one responsible for Carlos Ortros death." It was silent again as everyone looked at each other. The silence was broken by a large goat women walking up and hugging me. She was mumbling thank you into my ear. I froze for a moment before patting her back.

A fish women walked up and gently pulled the goat women away. The fish walked around me, observing me. I waited for a bit until she was in front of me.

She glared at me for a while before pulling me into a hug. "Welcome to the family kid!" she practically screamed. I furrowed my brows in confusion and looked at Sans. I mouthed what at him and he gave me a small smile and shrugged.

I debated telling them that I didn't actually plan to join them until I actually put more thought into it. They were nice people. Their intentions seemed to be good. Hell, they actually had a kid they couldn't be terrible people. Most definitely not good but not terrible.

I sighed as I made my decision and hugged back. I took another glance at Sans and saw him smiling even wider. When the fish let me go everyone introduced themselves to me. While Undyne went back to talking to Asgore, Sans walked back up to me.

"Glad you decided to stay kid," he said, taking a swig of some kind of drink. I chuckled and snatched the drink from him, taking a swig as well.

"Yeah yeah," I replied, laughing at his shocked face.

His expression softened more and he placed a hand on the middle of my back. He took the drink from me and took another drink. "You will fit right in here."
