PJ x Werewolf! Reader

What has it been? 7 months I've been keeping this secret? I groaned in frustration and yanked at my hair. I had to tell him. It was almost time anyway.

My eyes glanced at the door as I heard the clanking of keys. I pushed myself back into a sitting position and looked over the back of the couch.

"Hey, Hun! I'm home!" PJ called out cheerfully. I smiled as he looked my way.

"Hey. PJ....can I talk to you?" I asked, looking down. He paused for a moment before nodding and heading over and sitting down next to me. He put his arm over the back of the couch. I turned to face him and inhaled slowly.

"What's up?" He asked, his face filled with concern.

"PJ," I started, taking a moment to think of how to say what I needed to say, "Each month, something...changes."

A look of relief washed over PJ's face, "Oh! That. Babe, I know what tha-"

"No, you don't get it. Once a month I turn into a raging beast.

"Isn't that part of your normal body functions?"

"Not like that idiot," I hissed out of frustration. I looked outside and noticed how late it was, the moon was almost high. I stood up and started running upstairs.

"Wait (Y/n)! What's-"

"I'll explain later, don't bother me," I ordered before bolting to the spare room. I closed the door and locked and sighed. I felt my self-twitch and knew I had only a few seconds before I changed. The walls were sound proof so he most likely wouldn't hear the noises.

"Damnit. I didn't have time to get to Alphys." I growl, chaining myself with the heavy, silver chains. I chained my legs, arms, torso even neck. I couldn't afford to escape. I heaved out a breath and slid down the wall, letting my head rest against the wall. I silently prepared myself for the long night.

PJ's POV

What was she trying to say? I rubbed my skull as I thought about what was happening. I couldn't take it anymore. I headed upstairs and made my way down the hall. Most of the doors stayed open so I knew she was in the one that was closed.

I knocked and called out her name, (Y/n)? Babe?" I asked gently, not wanting to upset her more.

There was no noise. I was about to knock again when I heard a faint growl. I knocked on the door and started calling out her name louder. Scared of what was happening. I soon gave up on privacy and tried opening the door. It was locked.

I backed up a bit and ran into the door, knocking it off its hinges. The sight I saw was beyond shocking.

"So this is what you were talking about," I said in awe. There in front of me sat a large (Fur color) beast. It had chains around it, keeping it from moving. I instantly noticed the chains were made of silver.

"(Y/n)," I mumbled out. She looked a lot different but it was her. Her eyes were the same. Her eyes widened slightly as she growled a little more. I hesitantly sat down a few feet away from her, just out of her reach.

She stopped growling and started whimpering. I reached my hand out, letting her sniff me. She didn't even sniff me before rubbing her head against my hand. I let out a chuckle.

"This is what you were hiding?" I asked, scratching behind her ears. She nodded and grumbled happily as she laid her head down by me. She was far enough that I could pet her but not close enough to bite me or anything.

I watched as the rise of her chest slowed down and I realized she was asleep. I sighed, still surprised. We have been dating for 7 months and I still didn't realize this. I grumbled at my own stupidity before laying down on my stomach.

I wasn't going to let her sleep alone. After so long of her going through this on her own? Not anymore. I kept my hand on her head and drew tiny circles on her head, lulling myself to sleep.

Your POV

I woke up to the sun blinding me.

"I fell asleep?" I mumbled, normally I never fell asleep. I rubbed my eyes and stretched. I heard something fall with a thud. I jumped at the sound only to find the source of it asleep on the floor.

"PJ!!" I shouted, totally confused. He woke with a start and looked at me. His gaze calmed down and he gave me a sleepy smile.

"Hey, Hun. Good morni-"

"Why are you in here? Did I hurt you? Are you alright?" I started rambling off on questions, praying I didn't do anything stupid. PJ grabbed my face with both hands and pulled me into a kiss. I kissed back and when we separated, I knew my face was bright red.

"Calm down. I came to check on you and heard growling. I burst in and found this. Why didn't you tell me?" he asked, unlocking the chains for me.

I didn't say anything for a moment, "I didn't want you to think I was some kind of freak."

He laughed before pulling me into a hug, "I would never think you were a freak. I love you for you." He replied, giving me a cheesy smile. I was hesitant before smiling back and standing up.

"You didn't have to stay though. I would have been fine." I said, yawning and heading towards our room. He followed behind.

"I wanted to. You must have had been so alone before. I didn't want you to be alone anymore." I fell onto the bed and covered myself with the blankets. PJ climbed in and wrapped his arms around me.

I snuggled into his chest and took in his scent. "Thank you," I mumbled, falling asleep again. Just being in my wolf form made me dead tired. I heard him hum a reply before we both fell asleep.
