Scott ran all the way to Deaton's. He didn't know where to go or what to do. Could his best friend really be over a 1000 years old and killed people just for fun? It just couldn't be right. Scott bursts through the doors of the vet clinic panting and still very shaken up.

"Scott, are you okay?"

"I-I don't know." Scott said with a million things rushing through his mind.

Why hadn't stiles told anyone who he was if he truly was a vampire?

Why didn't he just kill them instead of helping them?

Why is he posing as a human if his one of the most powerful beings to walk the earth?

"Why don't you tell me what's worrying you, maybe I could be some sort of assistance?" Deaton said walking towards Scott.

"I think I know who Mieczyslaw is." Scott said looking up at Deaton with puppy eyes.

"What makes you think this?"

"I've noticed all these little things that lead up to being him. Deaton is there some sort of way to know there a vampire for sure?" Scott asked.

"Yes." Scott's eyes lit up, he actually had something to work with.

"What is it?"

"It's called vervain." Deaton handed Scott the herb.

"Thanks Deaton." Scott said before walking towards the door.

"Scott." Deaton called out.

Scott turned to face him. "Yes?"

"Be careful." Scott smiled before walking out of the clinic, it was now or never.

Scott walked up to stiles front door and knocked on it. He could hear stiles footsteps coming closer and closer. He looked down to the vervain he was holding. Could he really do this, what happens if it turns out stiles really is a vampire, what happens then? Scott then heard the door knob start to move and quickly hid the vervain behind his back.

"Hey buddy what's up?" Stiles answers the door.

Scott couldn't help but feel like he didn't know the person standing in front of him anymore and he hated it. "Hey, I was wondering if we could talk."

Stiles creased he's eyebrows for a second before moving aside to let Scott in. "Yeah sure."

Scott followed stiles into the kitchen. "Fancy a snack?" Stiles asked while holding up a bag of chips.

Scott smiled and nodded. "I'll get the drinks." Stiles nodded before pouring the chips into a bowl and placing them on the table waiting for Scott to come with the drinks.

This was Scott's chance, it was now or never. Scott looked behind him to see if stiles was looking and when he knew for sure he was safe he quickly snuck the vervain in stiles drink. Scott couldn't help but feel guilty, he felt like he was betraying stiles somehow.
Scott took in a deep breath before carry the drinks out to the table.

"So... what's on your mind Scotty." Stiles asked while reaching for a handful of chips.

"What happen that night when we were all at Deaton's, when you took me home?" Scott questioned.

"What do you mean, we looked through the original book and then I took you home." Stiles said simply.

"Would you believe me if I think something else happened that night?" Scott knew something else happened that night, something to do with stiles.

"What else do you think happened?" Stiles said reaching for his drink.

Scott watched as stiles reaches for his drink. Something in him wanted to yell 'stop' and throw the drink away so he would never know; but then the other part couldn't wait for him to drink it.

It was as if time slowed down, stiles slowing raising the glass to his mouth, Scott watching every single move he makes, and then finally the liquid pours into his mouth.
Stiles dropped the cup and immediately spat out the vervain. It felt as if lava was coursing down his throat and no matter what he did the pain wouldn't stop.

"What was that?" Stiles said breathless.

"Vervain." Scott said bluntly. All of Scott's body felt numb, all he wanted to do was run, run as far away as possible. He didn't want this, he wanted stiles to be human, not a vampire.
