"hi bestfriend! how are you?" andres greeted me, i smiled. "hi." i stood to gave him a hug. "i got your favourite." he raised a paperbag. i grabbed it and looked what's inside. burrito! "omg, thank you!!" i hugged him and he chuckled. "anything for my bestfriend, basta you'll smile na okay?" he messed my hair and i nodded, smiling.
he joined me eating burrito, he got his own. "thank you for this ha, timothy won't buy me kasi. i'm really craving for burrito right now e." i told him, he grinned. "well, i'm such a sweet bestfriend, i guess." he shrugged and i laughed. we were talking about different stuffs when i heard a knock. "come in!"
"tia, you have a visitor." tim appeared on my door. "who?" i asked and he stepped aside, benj came out. tim walked away. "what are you doing here?" i raised my brow. andres clenched his jaw, "go away, pangilinan." he said, his eyes glaring at benj. "i'm here to say sorry about last night."
"i know nabigla kayo, si tia. i thought everything will be fine—" hindi nya natapos ang sasabihin nya dahil nakatanggap sya ng isang sapok galing kay andres. "andres! stop!" i tried to stop him but he's strong. he's too strong. "everything will be fine? really, benj? gago ka pala e!" andres spat and punched him once again. tears spilled out, it hurts seeing the two boys i love hurting each other.
"muhlach! i told you to stop!" i pushed andres harshly to my bed. i looked at benj, his lips were bleeding. i sighed, "you better leave, benj." i muttered, closing my eyes. "no i won't unless you forgive—"
"forgive you? huh." i scoffed, looking at him. "forgive for last night or for what you did two years ago?" i asked, he stayed silent. "i think i can't forgive you for what you did, benj. either if it's from what happened last night or two years ago. saying you still love me? the hell, benjamin. stop those sweet words of yours! gusto mo ba akong magmukhang tanga ulit?" i sobbed. he looked at me, tears forming in his eyes.
"its been two years, belle. ang tagal na non!" he answered, his voice raising. "pero yung dalawang taon na yon nadito paren!" i answered, pointing at my heart. "kung sayo madali, sakin hindi. tapos bigla bigla ka nanamang magpaparamdam? bumalik lahat e." i paused, shakily breathing. "bumalik lahat lahat. simula doon sa nagkakilala tayo hanggang sa niloko mo ako." i said in a low voice, only the two of us can hear. "i didn't want that to happen! i didn't knew she'll do that!" he cried.
"you didn't want to happen, pero bakit di mo pinigilan?" i asked, my knees shaking. my vision blurry. he didn't said a word. "see?" i let the tears fall down. we stayed quiet for a few moments, "minahal mo ba talaga ako, benj?" i suddenly asked. he looked at me, and held my hands. "ofcourse, i still do." he answered, i want to believe him. his eyes were so sincere, the way he answered was so sincere. pero nagawa nya parin akong lokohin.
"kung mahal mo ko, bakit mo ko sinaktan?" i said, another batch of tears pouring down. my heart was aching so bad, my breath shaking, my knees got weaker. he sighed, "how many times will i tell you, i didn't want that thing to happen?" he replied in a low voice. "you better leave now, bro." andres spoke. "no i won't— just leave, benjamin!" i spat, cutting him off.
he was hesitant but he did anyway. i faced andres, crying my eyes out. "i'm so tired." i whispered, burying my face on his chest. he hugged me, rubbing my back. "you'll be fine soon, tanya." he answered and let me cry on his chest. i'm so tired of you, benj, but i still hope that i'll have you back. i still love you.
