Natalia looked down at her iPhone as she felt it buzz in her hands. It was a twitter notification from some random magazine that she chose to ignore. Clearing the notification with a sigh, she looked around the airport lounge for her two missing best friends.
Adriana and Kylie had left her to get some coffee from Starbucks nearly 20 minutes before. Natalia let out a breath as she realized they had probably gone off somewhere else and left her to watch the luggage.

Natalia placed her phone back down after texting Adriana, deciding that they would probably ignore her anyway. Instead, she focused on the various people around her.
A little bit in front of her, there was a young couple, clearly on their honeymoon by the 'Just Married' pins the two were sporting. Natalia couldn't help but smile at the gesture. Jessie would love it.
Natalia was so engrossed in her mindless thoughts that she nearly screamed when Adriana plopped down in the seat beside her. Looking to her giggling best friend's outstretched hand, she grabbed the steaming cup of Starbucks Coffee from her hand.
"You two took so long," Natalia complained as she took a sip of the coffee, then grimacing at the burning sensation on her tongue.
"The Starbucks line was long," Adriana sighed as she settled into her seat comfortably. "It was so annoying because then they took forever to make the order."
"Actually," Kylie cut in, making Adriana roll her eyes, "we took long because dri wanted to chat up the barista."
"He was cute, okay," Adriana defended as she took a bite of her banana nut bread, "and be thankful because the order was free."
Natalia couldn't help but laugh at her best friend. Of course, Adriana would use her looks to get a free meal. ———————-
