I am so tired.

We have been shopping for so much for hours. I didn't know that ladies of the court wore or did so much in order to look as regal as they did. I have bought dresses, clothes and shoes that I didn't think I would wear in my lifetime. Jewelry that looked so delicate and beautiful, that I had to catch my breath. Prince Ovian had outdone himself, he made sure I got everything I needed. Including Taylor. At some point, I had asked him if we needed so much, but all I got was a grunt.

At 9am like he had asked or rather had commanded, I had waited for him at the side walk. I didn't want him coming up to the apartment again. I had felt vulnerable with him filling the entire living space and ogling me. So today, I had worn a long clingy top over my jean and a pair of flats. I had brushed my unruly curls as much as I could and packed them into a tight knot behind my head. I had on a serious look that I hope said, "Don't fuck with me."

His car had come in exactly at nine and picked me up. And we proceeded out to the Bristol. The Bristol is a shopping plaza for the elite. It was located on the East part of the Republic. I wish Taylor was here with me. This man is the most boring person ever. He just stayed at my side without saying anything. If I asked him if something was okay, he would just shrug his shoulders or grunt. The only time I had gotten a reaction was when I had worn a very tight dress that the sales person was encouraging me to buy, and I wasn't sure if it would be accepted in the palace. I had walked out to find the prince and ask his opinion. He had looked at me with those icy blue eyes and said an emphatic NO! But because of how he reacted, I decided to take the dress.

We were sited at a table in a Cafe, eating when he said he had to go see to his brother. So he left me alone in the whole store with his credit card for me to buy whatever else I needed.

So here I am roaming the stores, when I came upon a store that stocked jeans, shirts and lots of labelled Tees. Finally, my kind of clothes! I breathed. I almost waltzed into the store. I bought three pairs of my favourite kind of jeans, some shirts and Tees. I was trying on a boot when Prince Ovian walked into the store.

"Back already?" I asked. I had hoped he was going to take long so I could hide these among my stuff and he wouldn't know.

"What are you buying?"

"Some jeans? Look P-"

"Tania?" He said raising his eyebrows. Then I understood. I wasn't supposed to call him prince or his name in public. For now.

"I can't be wearing only dresses all my life!"

He sighed. "Okay, take what you need. We leave in a few minutes."

"How's your brother? Is he okay?" Ignoring my question, he picked up my shopping bags and headed out the door. I proceeded to the counter, made my payment and went after him.

"What is wrong with you? If we are going to be a couple we should begin to practice having civil conversations." I said as I reached him.

"Hmph." He grunted. I rolled my eyes. This is going great.

The drive back to the county was uneventful. I slept through the 2 hour drive and got a tap on my shoulder that we had gotten to my apartment building. He got out of the car and helped me with my numerous bags into my apartment.

"Well, thank you." I said awkwardly. Then he took out a paper folder from one of bags and gave it to me. "I couldn't see my brother as I said earlier because I had gone to get these instead. When you open it, you will find everything you need to know about your new identity. I want you and your friend to read it and commit everything to memory. Taylor can continue being Taylor. She can be someone you met later on in life or something. Since you are good at scheming, it shouldn't be difficult to create a lie about your past. Also, be ready to leave this county tomorrow evening."
