️I looked ethereal, like something that was not of this world. My wedding gown was a beautiful ivory dress, made of lace, and the finest of silks. Embellished in ivory pearls and sawouriski beads. Its bodice was molded to my body, all the way down to my thighs before it fanned out into a mermaid style. My veil was just as long but was made out of pure tulle. I had on a gold tiara that held the veil in place. My accessories were minimal; a simple teardrop diamond earrings and a gold pair of Manolos with gold broach details in front.

Taylor, my maid of honour, is wearing a beautiful cowl neck silk maroon dress that accentuated her curves. She paired it with gold accessories while my train all wore gold dresses paired with maroon accessories.

It was the day the whole kingdom had been waiting for. The day the most eligible bachelor was taken off the market thereby breaking many hearts.

The day before, I and Taylor had relocated to the palace and all our belongings had reached us later. I got to see Ovian's quarters which was on the east side of the palace. His quarters was closest to the king's and I wasn't too glad about that because that meant that I and the queen will be seeing often.

Our rooms were beautiful and homely. I knew that Jasper had a hand in that. Although, sadly, he didn't come along with us to the palace. Here, there was only one valet and he attended specially to the royal family.

Our bedroom was furnished with an extra large bed, a longer chaise and a walk-in closet. Ovian's clothes were to the left while mine were to the right. The bathroom is the size of our old apartment put together. There was a very large gold bathtub that could contain two adults and a gold handle shower. Everything was shiny and expensive and beautiful. That was going to be the payment for my fake marriage to the prince; a life of luxury.

"Tania?" Taylor called as she pulled me out of my thoughts. "Are you okay?" She asked, concerned.

I turned away from the mirror and looked at her. "You are so beautiful," I breathed.

She smiled. "Don't change the subject. I know you and your melancholic thoughts." We both laughed.

Suddenly, I pulled her in for a hug. And she hugged me back. "You will be alright, baby." She pulled back and lifted my eyes to look at her, "And I will be right by your side. Do you hear me?" I nodded. Trying my best not to cry. She hugged me again. "You will be alright." She was the only family I had.

"Now let's go kick some ass!" She said and we laugh again. But I allowed her lead me out to the car that was to take us the venue, which wasn't so far. It was a beautiful garden, called Eden that was on the south side of the palace.

As soon we got there, it was time. I breathed deeply and stepped out of the vehicle. The veil was covering my face and I was holding my ivory and white bouquet in front of me. Taylor was behind me, holding up the tail of my dress and veil. In front of me, the little bride and page boy were ushered forward, as they spread soft red rose petals in their wake. Then followed by six bridesmaids and grooms, then Taylor and a Lord, who was Ovian's best man, then it was my turn. I was a nervous wreck, suddenly, I couldn't breath. I closed my eyes and thought of my mother. I could see her beautiful face smiling down on me. Her large expressive brown eyes telling me it would be alright. I beamed at the memory and I knew I could this. I lifted my head and took the first step until I was almost at the stage where Ovian was waiting. He wasn't smiling, rather he looked grim. His eyes were gleaming with something, I couldn't tell but they held mine and I couldn't look away. I reached him, and he continued to stare at me.
