I woke up and found myself on the couch being cover by my coat.

I sit up immediately realizing Adam is inside the apartment. I turn my head and see Adam on the chair look at me.

"Hey," he said.

"uh...hi," I said.

I look at the time. It's 6pm.

Adam scratch his head, "Thank you for taking care of me."

"Sure, just don't drink too much."

"noted."

"are you feeling better?"

"yeah, I need that nap."

"do you remember  what you told me," I ask.

"it's a bit of a blur. I know I say some things. I talk to you about Jenifer didn't I?"

"yeah."

Adam smack his forehead, "idiot!"

"you're not an idiot."

"I ramble to you about my ex wife."

"I ramble to you about my ex fiance."

He looks at me. I shouldn't have brough that up.

"ex fiance?"

"long story. since you're sober, did you call a cab?"

"I call an uber. They will be coming in twenty minutes."

Adam put his coat on and went over to the door. I walk over unlocking the door. He steps out and we both turn to each other.

"Thanks for everything. I didn't know I need it."

"Anytime, you want a chat. I have all ears."

Adam chuckles, "I really miss your quirk."

He gives me a hug. I wrap my arms around him.

"is it okay if I can see you again?"  Adam ask while hugging me.

"Sure."

We let go of each other and smile.

He hold my hand tightly and said, "If I ever fallen for a women, I want it to be you."

I stand there like idiot. I'm dumbfounded what I just heard.

Did he actually say that?

He really meant it too.

He gives a kiss on the cheek.

"Call me."

He left.

I slowly smile feeling my cheeks flush.

I head back in to the apartment and close the door.

I felt his sincerity right through my heart.

His words were there.

I'm actually baffle a guy told me, "he doesn't mind a women like me, he can fallen in love with."

My brain can't think anymore.
