PROMPT: "Don't call me cute"
Yourself, your boyfriend, Alec, Jace, Izzy, Simon and Clary were all sitting around the conference table, discussing some mission or another but you just couldn't focus on anything but how cute Alec looked today.
"So, I'll circle the perimeter, Y/N you can help Jace" Alec instructs, looking over to you
"Huh?' you mumble, not even trying to hit the dreamy tone behind your voice
"Were you even listening?" Alec asks sternly, but the corners of his mouth turn up slightly, a permanent half-smile that always sits on his face when he looks at you - even if he's angry
"No" you admit and Jace snorts
"Too busy undressing him with you eyes?"
"Shut up, Jace!" you scoff, "Like you don't do that with Clary"
"Please don't bring me into this" Clary pipes up
You get up from your seat and move over to Alec, draping your arms over his shoulders from behind his back and laying on him, your head lolling over one of his shoulders, you lips close to his cheek
"What...are you doing?" Alec whispers to you, trying not to laugh
"You look so cute today" you murmur, still all hazy and dreamy
"Don't call me cute" Alec frowns, his nose scrunching up in disgust
"That look is even cuter" you whisper into his ear, pecking his cheek
"Aw, you guys are so cute!" Clary squeals and Alec's smile disappaears
"Uh-uh, no, you definitely can't call me cute" Alec snaps
"Oh, get over yourself, Alec" Clary rolls her eyes, "I called the situation cute, the whole couple thing, not you specifically"
"For you to even insinuate anything I do is cute is breaching a boundary, Fray" Alec scowls and Clary scoffs, shaking her head in exasperation before leaning back into Jace's side. She has long since given up on trying to win any kind of battle with Alec - verbal or physical.
"Still cute" you mumble into Alec's ear before kissing his cheek again and sitting back at your place at the table
"That was so uncomfortable to watch" Simon shudders
"Agreed" Izzy pipes up

WOW this is probably my worst ever but it's 3am and I was rush writing. Sad af one tomorrow - like really sad, there is death involved.
