Multiple {Preference} ~ How They Know You're Lying

Jace - You stammer and stutter a lot and get super quiet. You're usually very upbeat and confident so when you start stumbling over your whispered words, he knows something's up.

Magnus - Yourself and Magnus have been together for so long that he just instantly knows when you're lying...though he won't give up how he knows.

Simon - You can't look him in the eye. You hate lying to him and you're relationship is built on a huge foundation of trust and honesty so when you stop looking at him, he notices.

Raphael - You can't stay still. You tend to be a very composed and structured person so when you start getting fidgety and nervous, Raphael picks up on it.

Izzy - You play with your hair, fidget or bite your lip.

Clary - The sparkle that Clary sees in your eyes all the time will diminish or deaden. It sounds strange but you're an incredibly positive, optimistic person by nature, much like Clary and she always talks about the sparkle only she can see in your eyes. When it dims, she knows you're not telling her the truth.

Jonathan - You don't dare to ever lie to him so...he doesn't need to know you're lying because you won't.

Alec - You fiddle with your hair. Whether it be pushing it back, tucking and untucking it behind your ear, tying it up and then taking it back out or twirling it around your fingers, Alec will notice it. Especially because it's usually him playing with your hair. He'll usually cross his arms, raise an eyebrow and just stare straight at you until you relent and tell him what's wrong.
